A very well stocked and comfortable cabin. Makes you feel right at home. I was looking forward to hitting the slopes more but no snow. So we spent a lot of time relaxing in the hot tub and BBQing.

Hi Dwane – My name is Kate – and I’m a friend of Jake, who rented the Knotty Pines cabin from you this last weekend. I just wanted to thank you for the weekend in your place – it was truly one of the most charming places I’ve stayed in at Tahoe. Super clean, with great kitchen equipment, comfortable beds, a wonderful wood burning stove, and an all-around cozy vibe that we really enjoyed. I look forward to coming back!~Kate

July 10, 2006 Dear Dwane & Family! It has only been two days since our visit to Lake Tahoe, and we are ready to go back! Our weeks stay in your lovely cabin, mae our family reunion, with our son Daughter in law and grandson Aspen, a memorable and enjoyable experience! Everything about and in your cabin was pleasant, comfortable and worked great! We took advantage daily, sometimes several times a day of the acesss to the beach club! The staff was very pleasant, went out of there way to help us, and we twice reserved a table on the lakes edge for a family cookout. The hot tub was maintained one day were were there, and worked with no problems! I fly fished every morning on the Truckee, and will remember the rising rainbows as the sun climbed over the mountains! Lots of fireworks at Squaw, and Tahoe City, and we enjoyed shopping at the Commons Beach during the farmers market and our 21, 23, 27 year olds "Kids", biked to watch the movies on the "commons" one night! Cabel rid and walked to top of highest ridge in snow for a "Boys" only photo! Dinner at Blue Aguave and lunch at Fire Sign we would suggest!
