Long Beach Island is a family vacationland, rated in the top five of a Travel Magazine's Best Beaches in the US poll.

This beach house duplex has two recently redecorated units. The upper unit has one bathroom, an eat in kitchen with a deck; two lovely bedrooms and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.

The lower unit opens to a large living room with a queen sleeper sofa and restored hardwood floors, an eat in kitchen with a deck and backyard, three charming "theme" bedrooms and one shower over tub bath. SPECIAL FEATURES

Each unit has a large sun-drenched living room with newer queen sleeper sofa, loveseat, and oversized chair, picture windows, cable TV, VCR, DVD, dishwasher,washer and dryer. Large, private deck on each floor with a southern exposure for dining, sunbathing, and sunrises. Includes two chaises, outdoor dining table, four chairs, and propane grill.

There is an outside shower and parking for two cars for each unit. We are five houses to the beach, with beach access.

Just five doors from the ocean, and even fewer to the bay, this recently re-decorated property is a feast to the eyes. With white walls, sheer island blue curtains, nautical art work and beautifully maintained hard wood floors throughtout the double living room and kitchen.

You'll want to rest in the new overstuffed furniture complete with a queen sized sleep sofa or maybe escape to the deck complete with a newer grill and outdoor dining set. The three bedrooms were recently decorated as well with new sleeping quarters with nautical themed artwork throughout. This house is situated approximately one mile from the southern tip of the island and is one-and-one-half miles south of Beach Haven town center.

We do not rent to groups of high school and/or college students. Weekend rentals may be available in April, May, October, and November and last minute in September if openings exist.

  • Well maintained property, inviting inside and out. Tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. Quiet location where you can listen to the surf, relax and re-energize. We were so impressed during our week in 2008, we returned in 2009.

  • We had a wonderful week in the upstairs 2 bedroom unit. It was cozy, comfortable and very clean. There is a BBQ outside on the deck for those evenings you just want to relax and eat in.   • We have stayed in the upstairs unit for two years in a row. We loved it so much the first year we had to return. The house is very fresh, clean and beautiful. My 12 year old loved how she could bike to anywhere she wanted. We loved the fact that she would be safe on the quiet back streets. This year we had our 7 month old with us. There was plenty of room for his crib, exersaucer and all his toys. Thanks for 2 lovely beach vacations!

  • We had a terrific week at the beach in this cozy 3 br beach house. Just 5 houses away from the pristine beaches of Holgate, and Beach Haven just a short drive or bike ride away. Window A/C units kept us cool and comfortable during a hot week in August.

  • We stayed in the upper and lower units from 7/11-7/18/09. It is perfect for a large family. Both units were very clean and well provisioned. Upstairs deck is great for morning coffee, so close you can hear the ocean.
