Long Beach Island is a family vacation land, rated in the top five of a Travel Magazine's Best Beaches in the US poll.
This beach house duplex has two recently redecorated units. The upper unit has one bathroom, an eat in kitchen with a deck; two lovely bedrooms and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.
The lower unit opens to a large living room with a queen sleeper sofa and restored hardwood floors, an eat in kitchen with a deck and backyard, three charming 'theme' bedrooms and one shower over tub bath. SPECIAL FEATURES
Each unit has a large sun-drenched living room with newer queen sleeper sofa, loveseat, and oversized chair, picture windows, cable TV, VCR, DVD, dishwasher,washer and dryer. Large, private deck on each floor with a southern exposure for dining, sunbathing, and sunrises. Includes two chaises, outdoor dining table, four chairs, and propane grill.
There is an outside shower and parking for two cars for each unit. We are five houses to the beach, with beach access.
Just five doors from the ocean, and even fewer to the bay, this recently re-decorated property is a feast to the eyes. With white walls, sheer island blue curtains, nautical art work and beautifully maintained hard wood floors throughtout the double living room and kitchen.
You'll want to rest in the new overstuffed furniture complete with a queen sized sleep sofa or maybe escape to the deck complete with a newer grill and outdoor dining set. The three bedrooms were recently decorated as well with new sleeping quarters with nautical themed artwork throughout. This house is situated approximately one mile from the southern tip of the island and is one-and-one-half miles south of Beach Haven town center.

We do not rent to groups of high school and/or college students. Weekend rentals may be available in April, May, October, and November and last minute in September if openings exist.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the upstairs unit. We found it very clean and comfortable for our family of 6. Kids ranged in age from 9-17 and all had fun! We especially loved the close proximity to the beach and had no worries with crossing the boulevard for beach access. Long Beach Islanders are extremely family oriented and neighborly. Cars always stopped/slowed down to let us cross the street. The house located in a quiet residential area so it was great for bike riding! The website photos and description are an accurate representation of the property and the owner was a pleasure to work with...very helpful and answered questions very timely either via phone or email. We would love to rent from this owner again!! PEACE & HAPPY BEACH WEEK!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We were looking to rent something for the weekend of memorial day, and we found this rental. The owner was pleasant to deal with, prompt with emails, and explained everything to us. The house is charming and was everything we needed for a long weekend. The weekend was quite humid but either way at night there was a great breeze. The only thing was we wished there was one more AC unit in the living room, but other than that the house was awesome. We grilled, drove into town, walked to the beach. Great Location!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

We rented this property a week before we arrived. It was a perfect place for my husband and me and our two young children. It was clean, the pictures posted are accurate, it was quiet and relaxing. We rented the two bedroom/1 bath upstairs and it was just what we were looking for and will definitely rent again in the future. Renting the listing was super easy, the owner responded promptly to our initial request, sent us the agreement as well as helpful info about LBI. Will definitely recommend to friends. We were there during off season but still did beach every day, mini golf at night, ice cream runs, climbed the lighthouse, saw the show Alladin at the Children's Theatre and witnessed gorgeous sunsets at the bay!Did you find this review helpful? Decided last minute to get the family away for one last weekend before the cold weather came. Thank you for providing such a beautiful, clean and comfortable home. We took my in-laws and they had no problem walking to the beach (5 houses down).Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

I travel a lot for my job and I long for my summer family vacations to spend time with my wife and 2 children. We all enjoyed 2 weeks of stress free family time at this wonderful and clean lproperty. The listing and photos were accurate. Any questions or concerns were addressed immediately to our satisfaction. The property manager is very responsive. Our family had a lovely vacation at this beach house, despite the poor weather. The close proximity to beach and bay (You can hear the ocean in the morning) and being on the quiet end of LBI make this an ideal destination. Not that there is any lack of things to do in Beach Haven and nearby Ship Bottom. Pleasant and well maintained, this rental property is sure to please even the most discerning guests. I rented the two bedroom apartment and it was clean very cute. It had all the ammenities we needed and it was a great location just a block from the beach. I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing time at the shore.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
