This pristine lakefront, log home is nestled on 100 feet of beautiful sandy bottom Brevort Lake. Minutes from Mackinaw Island, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, and the Hiawatha National Forest. Tahquemenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Seney wildlife refuge, Mackinaw Island and Soo Locks are all nearby points of interest. This is a year-round getaway ideal for watersports,sightseeing, golf, boating, fishing, hunting, biking, hiking,snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing. Snowmobile to the trails. The Kewadin casino is ten miles and 20 golf courses are within an hour drive. Thunder Falls Water Family Water Park is located just 25 minutes away.
This spacious log home offers three bedrooms and two-and-one-half baths. A large balcony overlooks the great room with stone fireplace and has a beautiful view of the lake. The master suite offers its own bathroom with a walkout to the spacious, cedar deck, perfect for outdoor entertaining overlooking the lake. The fully-equipped kitchen has all the accessories - it is just like being at home. Enjoy a cup of coffee and catch a glimpse of wildlife from the dining room table, the great room, or the deck which extends the entire back of the house. The bald eagle is a daily visitor. A dock and boat mooring are available for mooring your own boat or rented pontoon, fishing boat or waverunner from Hunt and Fish shop. Children love to swim in the shallow, sandy bottom lake. Kayaks, canoe, paddleboat, rowboat, firepit, hammock and yard games for outdoor enjoyment. Board games, satellite tv, dvd, movie library and wireless internet are available for indoor enjoyment.

Beautiful, clean new log cabin. Brand new everything, aplliances , dishes, etc. Well stocked, barbeque, paddle boat, beach chairs.....everything you could think of. Wendy, Thank you very much for allowing us to stay at your residence. The cabin was very neat and clean. We had a blast and were hoping to get some very snowy days, which unfortunately did not happen. The area is very peaceful and quiet. The ammenities inside were all functional and clean. The description of the cabin was accurate. The owner provided very good customer service and the handouts at the cabin were helpful in finding other activities to do. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives and are planning to come back. Not much going on when we went, and were just looking for some peace and relaxation, which we got! From the moment we walked in we knew we had chosen the right place to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. The home is beautiful. Very well equipped with everything one would need. Everything was labeled from light switches to electronics. Owner supplied a listing of local restaurants and activities as well as trails for snowmobiling in the winter months. The home is immaculate inside and out. It is located on a beautiful lake in a great area close to everything you need. We are anxious to stay during the summer months and chill out on the beach and beautiful deck. Very serene and secluded. The only thing one has to bring are personal belongings. This is a top notch rental. The home is beautiful. Very clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Huge deck with top of the line grill. Inside and outside in very good clean condition. On our arrival the only word to describe walking into the home is Wow! Absolutely stunning home with a wonderful lake view. I have had the opportunity to stay in vacation rentals in the past. All too often it is exactly that; a rental, just enough amenities to get by. Staying here in this home was a privilege; it is obvious that the owner goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect. From the welcoming basket of flavored coffee and scones to the ample supply of amenities. (the kitchen is equipped better than most homes) This Labor Day week I did not just rent a place on a lake but my family truly felt as if we were guests. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wishing to spend quality time in a wonderful home and location with your loved ones.Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway.

We truly enjoyed your home. We only regret we had more time than a 3 night stay. The home was very clean, well organized and PEACEFUL. we loved the home layout so much we have found the exact home and working to build the same floor plan. Once again, this home does not disappoint! A very well stocked, home (dishes, cleaning supplies, linens, DVDs, games, books, ipod docking, etc) with everything you will need. Beautifully decorated. Beds and furniture are comfortable. And did I mention CLEAN?! Nicely organized info on sight seeing, resturants, and outdoor recreation is available at this home as well. Although this was a winter visit, I would not hesitate to stay here during other seasons. As always, Wendy was available to answer any and all questions that we had. We stayed at this beautiful cabin for three nights in Feb. 2012....their were 8 of us....had a fantastic time!! This cabin is so warm and comfortable. It has everything you need for your vacation away from home. The kitchen was supplied with all the dishes, pans, untinsels. Big dinning room table for dinners, playing games, cards. The bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of warm blankets. Two big bathrooms, perfect for large groups. We had a fire going the whole time we were there, so warm and cozy. We would stay here again if we come back for the next Hockey tournament, or just a winter time away from home. Loved it!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Home was perfect, has everything you need. Spent hours on the lake with all of the included boats. Absolutely perfect getaway with friends. Couldn't have asked for more and would love to go back!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
I love sitting on the deck in the morning and drinking coffee. It is so relaxing. The bald eagle often flies over, ducks come in for visits and we see plenty of deer. The house is decorated for a comfortable feel to all who visit. When trails are open, I can hop on snowmobile and ride to hundreds of miles of trails. My favorite loop is to ride the lake to 123, go to Trout lake for lunch and head back through the woods to Brevort Lake Campground and back home.
