This pristine lakefront, log home is nestled on 100 feet of beautiful sandy bottom Brevort Lake. Minutes from Mackinaw Island, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, and the Hiawatha National Forest. Tahquemenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Seney wildlife refuge, Mackinaw Island and Soo Locks are all nearby points of interest. This is a year-round getaway ideal for watersports,sightseeing, golf, boating, fishing, hunting, biking, hiking,snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing. The Kewadin casino is ten miles and 20 golf courses are within an hour drive. Thunder Falls Water Family Water Park is located just 25 minutes away.
This spacious log home offers three bedrooms and two-and-one-half baths. A large balcony overlooks the great room with stone fireplace and has a beautiful view of the lake. The master suite offers its own bathroom with a walkout to the spacious, cedar deck, perfect for outdoor entertaining overlooking the lake. The fully-equipped kitchen has all the accessories - it is just like being at home. Enjoy a cup of coffee and catch a glimpse of wildlife from the dining room table, the great room, or the deck which extends the entire back of the house. The bald eagle is a daily visitor. A dock and boat mooring are available for mooring your own boat or rented pontoon, fishing boat or waverunner from Hunt and Fish shop. Children love to swim in the shallow, sandy bottom lake. Kayaks, canoe, paddleboat, rowboat, firepit, hammock and yard games for outdoor enjoyment. Board games, satellite tv, dvd, movie library and wireless internet are available for indoor enjoyment.

There are so many things to see and do in this area. Pictured rocks, Tahquemenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Mackinaw Island, ThunderFalls waterpark, casino, snowmobiling, skiing, Lake Michigan. Most of all, I love the lake. Brevort Lake is an all sports lake with great fishing, boating and touring
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
I love sitting on the deck in the morning and drinking coffee. It is so relaxing. The bald eagle often flies over, ducks come in for visits and we see plenty of deer. The house is decorated for a comfortable feel to all who visit.

Beautiful, clean new log cabin. Brand new everything, aplliances , dishes, etc. Well stocked, barbeque, paddle boat, beach chairs.....everything you could think of. If you desire this area, you won't find a classier place. Of all the places we have rented, this one was the nicest.

This cabin is very clean, lots of everyday items supplied for you( kitchen soaps, laundry soap, spices, flour, the list goes on and on) it made our trip so much easier. We visited a local bar called the bowwrinkle, it was friendly, good food, and was a clean. We are already planning a return visit the same time this coming year. We hope to make a year event for years to come. And we got to take our dog Birdie to complete all the family members. Beautiful sunsets, beautiful lake. it is like being on "Golden Pond". Great place a quick weekend, or like us a family week long vacation. Just can't say enough good things about this cabin and lake.

We had a wonderful time. This cabin was a perfect size and great location. I have always dreamed of taking the kids, grandkids, dog and waking up together, eating every meal together and playing cards til the ?.. The sunsets on the lake were beautiful, we had snow, built a snowman, took long walks. Just great experience. The cabin has so many things provided. I was truely impressed by this. We have friends asking to go. This is the perfect place to get away. We are planning a return trip... to this same cabin.. has I write this.!!!!!!!!!!!

We absolutely loved this cottage! Even though we were unable to take advantage of the amazing outdoor amenities due to bad weather the entire weekend, we still very much enjoyed lounging around inside. This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay from a fabulous kitchen with nice pots/pans/dishes, etc. to baby gates tucked away in the closets. The only thing that could have made this place over the top fantastic would have been a hot tub on the massive deck. We can't wait to go back when we can stay longer. Thanks!!!

I am extremely delinquent in writing this review! We stayed over the New Year holiday in 2010 and were actually married in this house! It had everything we needed and more - it was clean, spacious enough for us all, but still cozy. We had a heat issue when we checked in and it was immediately addressed by the owners who contacted their maintenance man, who arrived with electric heaters. It took awhile for the place to warm up because of the extremely cold temperatures, but we had the heat from the gas fireplace which we all snuggled up around and played games the first night we were there. By Saturday afternoon when the minister arrived, everything was perfect. We could not have picked a better spot, and hopefully will be able to get our four kids all together again this winter for an anniversary weekend up there! Thanks to the Kusler's for making the first weekend of our new lives together so memorable!

Perfect cabin for a family vacation

House was clean, roomy, and well furnished. Dishwasher and washer/dryer are a definite plus when on vacation! Dock, large sand beach, and varieties of boats made this a perfect place for families with kids. My three kids (ages 8,8,7) had a blast wading out 30 yards from shore in knee deep water with a total sand bottom. The lake is clear and quiet, and "civilization" is only 20 minutes away for restaurants and groceries. The owner was very helpful in getting us settled on short notice.

This is a great place to stay. The trails in the eastern UP have low traffic and were perfectly groomed. For the guys on the trip that had never ridden this side of the UP said it was the best trip they had ever been on. The log cabin was perfect and has every thing you'll need. We will be back next year
