You are in the heart of everything, do not need to drive anywhere...just park and enjoy.
Although we ARE NOT on the beach, we are just a short stroll to the water's edge!
Imagine... just walk out from your adorable and cozy "flat" (which we refer to as Picasso Sun) to the rooftop and view all of Seaside and the Gulf of Mexico... put together an intimate dinner with candlelight under the stars, or dash out the door, walk to Bud and Alleys Restaurant and let them cook for you. You can also take a leisurely stroll down the pedestrian street (which is in front of the "Picasso Sun") to a romantic sidewalk cafe which is less than a few hundred yards away. The possibilities are limited only to your imagination.
** If you would like for me to provide a bottle of champagne or flowers or whatever might bring a smile to your companion's face, just let me know in advance and I'll take care of it and add it to your final bill. **

Now... you can focus on your living SPACE at my PIcasso sun, which is a two room unit designed with a trendy New York loft style architecture...some folks consider it more European style....I have even had a recent guest describe it like a flat they had in Paris!
Only one bedroom with a queen bed, but it is cozy . The compact living/dining/kitchen area is equipped with a small stove, refrigerator and microwave. The sofa is a sleeper and sleeps one comfortably if needed. All linens are included with your stay. We have no balconies, however,the open rooftop can be accessed easily out your door and up the stairs We are not the typical Condo style unit and we are not the typical beachside community. Seaside has so much to offer for a vacation or weekend getaway.
It feels like a small European village with parks and shops and the gorgeous emerald green GULF OF MEXICO at your disposal. You can hear the bell ring when sunset officially falls and night begins. An outdoor theater is provided and once during the week you can see movies under the stars with outdoor concerts in the park area.
Sorry, pets and smoking are NOT allowed in our "Picasso Sun." I live above the Picasso sun and moon and of course, will meet you when you arrive.

This darling little loft type apartment is perfect for two....and You walk out the front door to shops and resturants and right now, I am hearing the Chapel chime 11:00 . You hear the bells and the noises of this fabulous community, almost like you are living and enjoying a small European city by the sea.

This unit is in the heart of Seaside but please pay attention to description of unit. If you are hot natured or claustrophobic this is not the unit for you. This unit is VERY small. The queen bed is jammed between the walls of the small bedroom. The head of the bed is touching the walls and there barely enough room to get out of the bed from each side of the bed. There is no closet so if you have hanging clothes you will need to bring your own hangers and use the pegs that are on the wall of the bedroom. The very small shower unit (free standing unit with hand held shower head) is located in the bedroom. The location of the bathroom sink and mirror were awkard. They were mounted very close to the wall making it difficult to brush your teeth or dry your hair without hitting your arm on the wall. If you are hot natured this is definitley not the unit for you. The owner requested that the thermostat be set at 77 degrees during the day and no lower than 75 degrees at night. The living area was very warm and extremely difficult to cool. The owner provided a small standing fan. Outdoor seating is Rooftop only - if seated you can not see over the railing. Also there are 3 heating/cooling units on the roof that are very noisy.

I do NOT deceive guests about what my unit is or is not. My adorable Picasso Sun is not a Posh condo….it is a European style flat with good use of space…(as I show on the websit)……………very reasonably priced to be in the Heart of Seaside. If you are looking for a Posh condo instead of a loft style flat, then you need to look elsewhere.

My daughter and I visited the Picasso Sun in April it was the perfect spot for everything. The apartment had everything we needed and more. We came down for a family wedding and it was great because we were in the heart of town. We could pop in and out with no hassles. I highly recommend staying at the Picasso Sun! Thank you Bert for making mine and Ella's trip perfect.

First time staying at Seaside, wanted a quite place near the beach and this was great. The place is similar to a New York flat and close to everything in Seaside. The room was comfortable and the condo had everything you would need. Kitchen was well equipted. Enjoyed the Miles Davis music in the cd player. Could not have found a better location in Seaside, 2 minute walk to grocery, restaurants, art shops, beach and salty cold raw oysters. Very professional owners that care about thier property and it shows. Can't wait to return! Thanks Bert

We just spent a glorious vacation at Picasso Sun and love Love LOVED it!! We have stayed at seaside, watercolor & rosemary and always had a good time; but, this was the best. Picasso Sun is super close to everything - truly it is in "the heart of Seaside". They have done a wonderful job with the decor - felt we had transported ourselves to Europe. Oh & the rooftop space is just incredible. The proprietors are super nice -- really, an amazing vacation. We are already plotting and planning to come again!! Big thank you to Picasso Sun..!
