Casa DelaMar accommodates as many as six guests comfortably in this spacious 1900 sq ft, 4-bedroom oceanfront villa. The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities such as microwave, dishwasher, two refrigerators, and even features a 12 ft cooking island! The TV unit includes a VHS, DVD, stereo, games, and a selection of reading material/games for the quieter moments.
The open concept dining/living/and kitchen area surround the walkout porch and all face what guests refer to as the "Million Dollar View" to describe the breathtaking panoramic beauty of Minister’s Bay!
Pack a picnic or take a stroll to the beach from your very own private pathway and explore life as it was for Columbus. The in-ground PRIVATE pool (25' x 16' approx) features a shallow leisure-end, which is ideal for infants or loungers, yet graduates to a standard six feet for the lap swimmer.
For added convenience, there is both a change room and washroom adjoining the laundry room. Casa DelaMar is back split in design, which enables anyone with stair restrictions easy access to the pool level via large exterior ramp.
Upon arrival,Deborah,your Tobago host, will welcome you with any inquiries you may have and provide a brief orientation. From then on, Deborah is available as much (or little) as you require. As an added feature, Deborah, is a fully licensed caterer, would delightfully prepare any of the popular local dishes for your enjoyment. This service is paid in very reasonable local rates directly to Deborah (in 2009 an average fully cooked meal is equivalent to approximately $20 US per adult/ children).

- Air Conditioning: We have recently installed two wall a/c units in master bedroom and south facing bedroom . The remaining two bedrooms each feature ceiling fans and four screen windows to catch the ocean cross-breeze. Most of our guest prefer to open windows to hear natural sounds of the sea!

Although breathtaking beautiful, we suggest that Minister's Bay is too rough for leisure swimming, but is perfect for hiking, jogging, ideally suited for private and romantic nature walks! Non-commercialized and private; pick your own coconut to take home and eat. See leather back turtles from March to September if you’re lucky to spot during a full moon!

Casa DelaMar (named after Gerald's Mom, Renee) is a local expression for "House by the Sea". From our guest feedback, the number one feature of our villa is the view of the full moon from our deck where is illuminates the ocean waves and silhouette of the coconut trees swaying in the tropical breezes!
Our villa offers guests the both of best worlds: For those wishing to escape the fast-paced commercialized world, we are just fifty yards from the ocean centered in an environmental protected coconut grove on Minister's Bay, yet we are only 1.5 km from the nearest convenience store, restaurant, and high speed internet!
The Unique Benefits at this Villa with Private Pool
Our favorite experiences include turtle watching between the months of March - September where we witnessed egg laying of Great Leather back Turtle. We encourage guests to take their flashlights, but caution not to shine any light into the turtles eyes. Pictures should be taken after all eggs have been nested to ensure her protection and return. More details can be furnished by the owners via email request.
This area was made famous with classic productions of famous Hollywood movies from the sixties: films include Swiss Family Robinson and Heaven Knows Mr.Alison!

We are Trinidadian family going back 300 years in heritage! Gerald, born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, always dreamed of constructing a villa to share his legacy with his wife, Susan (Canadian), and their five children and grandson. The dream was realized in 1999 when we first walked along the shore of Minister's Bay and fell in love with the natural beauty as seen by Columbus himself. It's as if time stood still!
