Enjoy this lovely home only 3 blocks to the beach. Very tastefully decorated, two-story home with two (2) master suites. One (1) master bedroom on the first floor, another master bedroom on second floor with two other bedrooms. Home has 3 queen beds and 2 twins and 3.5 baths - sleeps a total of 8.
Well stocked, large kitchen and open floor plan. A double set of sliding doors from living and dining rooms to access screened porch, deck, picnic table, and lounge chairs. A library of movies (adult and children's), CDs, games, and books for everyone. There are 3 TVs so everyone can have a choice. You will immediately make yourself at home and relax at Pelican Pointe.
You can walk or drive to the beach from this home and two (2) parking passes are available for you and your guests. Enjoy a short walk in the morning to McCabe's for gourmet coffee and your newspaper. You can also walk over and have lunch at the deli or Grotto's Pizza or take a picnic to the beach. There are plenty of shops with-in walking distance as well. Take a long walk, run or go biking anytime of day. You can golf nearby, play tennis or bring your kayak or sail board and head out to the bay for the afternoon.
South Bethany, along with Bethany Beach just to the north and Fenwick Island just to the south, are centrally located along the Delaware-Maryland Atlantic seaboard, and are referred to as Delaware’s “Quiet Resorts.” They are “family-friendly,” clean, uncrowded, lifeguarded beaches. Fenwick Island features a water park, numerous miniature golf courses, and movie theatres for family fun. Many great restaurants nearby and plenty of carry-out and delivery options as well.
From Pelican Pointe, you are close to Ocean City, MD to the south, with its huge boardwalk and amusement park; the nightlife of Dewey Beach, DE just up the coast; and the TAX-FREE outlet shopping in Rehoboth, along with many unique shops and its own boardwalk and nightlife. For a great afternoon trip, take the family on the ferry to Cape May, New Jersey from Lewes, DE, just north of Rehoboth.
