This year round, vacation home has everything needed to enjoy a wonderful week at the lake. There are five bedrooms with goose down comforters to keep warm, ceiling fans to keep cool. Additional comfortable sleeping areas are available if needed.
The lakeside great room has a wood burning fireplace. The kitchen is large and fully equiped with everything you need to prepare and enjoy family meals. The deck spans the entire lakeside of the home with a large screened porch.
The grounds are beautiful with towering white pines, 100 year old oaks, an acre of lawn, lots of gardens and a gradual slope to the clear, sand bottom, spring fed lake. The grounds are lighted at night.
Deer Lake is one of the premier recreational and fishing lakes in Wisconsin. Deer lake is over 800 acres, and is well stocked wih a variety of fish (including Muskie).
Basketball, air hockey, and a variety of board games will entertain you on the property or go explore the many things to do within 15 minutes.
Some of them are: biking, canoeing the St. Croix River, exploring state parks, touring the renown Fraconia sculpture garden, taking a historic paddleboat dinner cruise, visiting wildlife parks. Antique shopping in St. Croix Falls and Taylor Falls. Lots of nearby restaurants to enjoy.
