Dear Maria Luisa, after three holidays in Tuscany and one in Umbria (Montefalco and Corbara) we definetely found the fifth at Villa Miralaghi the most wonderful of all. You have the most amazing theories on Italians and pasta, which make no sense at all, but sounded magnificent in that Dalida- kind of french of yours. Many thanks for yours suggestions concerning both the places to visit in the neighbourhood and the nice spots on the property itself. I know you repeatedly invited us to come to your house, but we were too shy and too much impressed to take you up on your offer. Beware for the Sicilian girl, my father always said. My personal comment: Thanks, I like a lot. I will remember your Kindness and all your nice group Belgium

Thank you for your good service and taking care of all our wishes! We enjoyed our stay in the Villa. There was even enough room for all of our motors (5!) in the big living room. Thanks for all the tips for Rome (Senatus) and the walks through the forest for a different view of the sunset . We especially enjoyed the swimming pool, the pool table, the garden and the barbecue So now in dutch: " Het was gezellig, houdoe en bedankt!" Holland

Dear Maria, we have finally come to the end of our 4 weeks stay in Villa Miralaghi. We have been very lucky with the weather, mainly sunny and warm and have really enjoied our visit to Umbria and to your Mountain. The location, with his peace and quiet and just the sound of the owls at night, the cockoo and woodpacker during the evening has been a perfect and a real contrast to our visit to the busy towns of Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto etc. You have been a very attentive host with your recommendations and thank you again for the delicious meal. Also it was an interesting day out together in Arezzo. We enjoyed the fires during the evening of our first week warm during the day but very cold at night, and the terrace of recent evenings to watch the sun going down with a glass of wine! In our 4 weeks we have visited many towns and villages and plenty of country side. Our most enjoyable visit have been to the town of Orvieto (and his subterrain city) , Assisi, Perugia, Todi and Arezzo, and the villages (hilltop of course) of Spello, Panicale, Paciano, Pienza, Montichiello (stunning scenary across in Tuscany) Bagnoregio (unforgetable). So many thanks for the experience Maria. Roy and Vee.

Between visiting hill towns and climbing to the top for the view each morning we got a lotr of epercial (?). We loved making a fire every day. Thank you for the lovely meal you served us and the information you provided about the area.

Our family from San Diego + San Francisco Ca/USA have enjoyed a wonderful weeks here. The people in Umbria+Tuscany have been so friendly * gracious. we've seen many places we've only read about ...to this visit. Maria Luisa is so helpful and a marvelous host. So many places to visit, we will be coming back again to see more, as we only could visit some in our time here. Such a beautiful countryside. the food + wine....especially the ice-cream is so good!!! we did not have a simple meal anywhere that was not delicious.even the small family owned places in out-of-the-way locations. Ciao...on to rome + Pompei and then back to the USA. clark family this was my first visit........we saw Pisa Cortona, Montepulciano, Arezzo,Montevarchi (Prada outlet), Florence and Assisi. (I can't spell it, but I enjoyed it. The best part is that the land looks so much like California but has beautiful sunflower fields and lovely remains of the thousends of years of civilisation. we'll definetely beback, my fiancee loves it so much he wants to move here. Maria Luisa was so helpful & great, the swimming pool is gourgeous, and the house reminds me of the cabins we stayed in while camping in California in 70'S. We had a wonderful time- Love the truffles susanne Aaron... san Francisco, CA

Hi/ we all had a fantastic holiday here in Villa Miralaghi. We arrived when the weather was chilly+ a bit damp. The pool was freezeng!*. But it soon changed after a couple of days+ we enjoyed unbroken sunshine and temp of about 30°C. The pool soon warmed up to 22°. The pool area gave us a great deal of pleasure, peaceful, relaxing and a real chill out after the husse + bussle of UK! The Villa is great although rustic in places! The surrounding area is wonderful. we visited Chiusi,Paciano,Orvieto,Montepulciano,Lake Trasimeno and Rome in one day. (too ambitious): Paciano is fantastic. I want to live there, preferebly in a villa with a pool!we very much enjoyed early morning walks. the views are fantastic. If you like fishing go to the lake near the front gate. We caught and ate lots of fish, wich were boney but tasty! We nearly caught a huge one but it got away! Our host Maria was very helpful + full of useful informations. I would definetely recommend this villa to anyone who wants to get away from it all and hopefully we will return one day.Terry 14/28 June 2008 and gill baker, Steve + Jo Harrison Lorri + Esmir Dem...

this was my first proper holiday....i've been in Umbria 2 weeks and met lots of nice people who kept calling me nice names and tickling me. I also really enjoyed the food like my mum and dad.... I spent a lot of my time counting animals I've not seen before. Around Miralaghi I saw woodpeckers, owls + an eagle. Lots of lizards ..and I also counted seventeen wildboar near our house one night. In Umbria and Tuscany there's lots of wonderful places to visit too. I won't list them though because the fun part is finding them for yourself anyway. But I will say that I have learned a lot! hope you enjoiy your stay here as much I did! From Eden (aged 5,1/2 months).

Judith and I have enjoyed our stay at Miralaghi very much. It was a rare opportunity to relax with friends and family for the first time in many years. And what a great place to do so!For me exploration and adventure is as important as relaxation. I was grateful to explore the hill towns of central Italy. Our visit included: Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, abbey of S. Antimo, abbazia de Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Asciano, Siena, Arezzo, Cortona,Castiglione del Lago, Assisi, Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio, Paciano, Panicale. Our visit to Chiusi and Città della Pieve were most enjoyable. Today our lost outing was Cetona and the archeological recreation nearby. Amazing how much we saw, learned and ate.Miralaghi is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. Brava! We enjoyed our stay and will tell all our Friends about it.with best wishes Michael + judith D.

Cara Maria Luisa, grazie mille per tutti! We had a delightful vacation in Umbria. thanks to your wonderful generosity + hospitality. the memories that all four of us will take with us of our time at villa Miralaghi will stay with us for a lifetime-though we'd like to think that we'll be back again, hopefully soon. The exquisitely rustic, yet well appointed house and grounds made for an exceptionally confortable "home away from home" as we explored the region. The natural setting amongst the wild beauty of this undiscovered gem combined with the superb location has prowen(?) to be the ideal beginning to our families' Italian Odissey '07. we thank you again for all your efforts on our behalf during our stay in your confortable + welcoming country home. un caro saluto per tutti gli familgi, afettuosamente, Rodrigo, Cinzia, Kelsey + Connor

We arrived on 17 June ,we left on the 1 of july. In between we had a wonderful time. Our party consisted of 8 d we all enjoyed our stay here. it is difficult to describe what is liked most. let's try. The house is spacious but also cosy. The terrace is a fantastic place to sit, relax, and most important to enjoy the meal and the company of our beloved ones. The swimming pool is a meeting point from eary in the morning to late at night.the kitchen is well equipped with a lot of utensils, etc. Especially in the evening there is tranquillity, there are the stars , the birds. in the morning we walked in the area but we also did fishing. the boys caugh a lot of river gambers and (?)fish at the small lake nearby. We visited the small villages as paciano, anicale, Città della pieve, etc. but also Arezzo, assisi, pienza, Perugia and near a trip to Island Maggiore. So that our family father(65), mother (59), childrens 32, 30, 27 and their friends are had to leave but have wonderful memoria. Signora Maria Luisa was a wonderful host, well style and fullfilled her promises. we thank her very much.we were very happy here!!Florence, Andrea, Mujar, Baki, Ann-Mary, Rutye, Burt and Julie

I see trees of green, red roses too, I see them bloom, for me and you, and I think to myself, what a wonderful world. I see skies of blue, and clouds of white, the bright blessed day, the dark sacred night, and I think to myself, what a wonderful world. The colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky, are also on the faces of people goin' by, I see friends shaking hands, saying "how do you do?" They're really saying "I love you". I hear babies cry, and watch them grow, they'll know much more, then I'll never know, and I think to myself, WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD. Yes i think to myself, what a wonderful world....
