200+ miles of marked mountain bike trails in the CAMBA system less than a half mile away. Many lakes within a few miles, great fishing.
Over 1500 square feet of living space in log, pine finished, cabin on three floors. Wrap-around deck. Sauna easily holds six. Beds for eight with a double futon for two more.
Great wood stove with wood provided. Electric heat in all rooms as well. Cabin is Swiss style with wood and tile floors. Stone central chimney. Full washer and dryer.
Many hiking trails nearby. Gorgeous fall colors. Hayward has many festivals for families throughout the year.

I am saddened that this place is all booked up on the weekends ( winter) I wanted to visit NW WI ski trails. My family of 8 had plenty of room and themsome. Highly recommend this cabin!!!

I have stayed at this cabin with my dog and friends annually for a few years in a row now. Every time I have had a wonderfully fun and relaxing time. I love the snowshoeing and ski trails so close and the over all dog friendliness. Not too fancy schmancy, but very relaxing. The owner seems very friendly and responsive. We have never had any trouble. You may want to bring your own hand soap and good trash bags as you have to pack out your own trash. Would like to try sledding on the hill out back next time! And even if you don't have Verison, some people have gotten some phone coverage in the parking lot of the bar at the intersection of 63 and OO. The bakery on main street in Hayward is a favorite stop, especially the date cookies and apple walnut maple bread.

We stayed in this cabin for a week each time in winter two years in a row. It's very comfortable for a group of single and coupled friends as it has 2 private bedrooms and a dorm room with bunk beds. The kitchen is well equipped and the cabin feels very cosy with nice furniture. It's especially nice because it has a sauna, perfect for warming up and relaxing after a day of skying on the trails nearby. We just love everything about this cabin and will definitely be back many times.

We stayed here over the Easter weekend of 07'. Chalet is beautiful and cozy inside. Rental transaction went smoothly. Would stay here again!
