Charming efficiency located 50 yards the Atlantic Ocean (Happy hour at 5pm every day in the “Tiki–hut”). The efficiency is fully furnished with well-equipped kitchen and is decorated with a Caribbean flair. Nice new quiet Mini-split AC system will keep you cool in the summer months.
Tropical Yard with native plants, pineapples, and an abundance of coconut palms gives you privacy. Outside, you have a gass-BBQ grill and two large pick-nick tables.
Optional dock in protected lagoon available for boat up to 26 foot (extra charge $10 per day to home owners association).
Jetty stretches a hundred yards out into the ocean, great for star gazing at night, sunbathing during the day or fishing day or night.
This is the best place in the Florida Keys for fishing. Grassy Key has quick and easy access to fishing both on the Atlantic and bay side (bridge for bay side access is 1/2 mile away). You can fish on the flats a couple hundred yards from your dock for bonefish and Tarpon, shallow reefs only a mile or two away offers Yellowtail, Mangrove snappers in abundance. Golf stream offers Dolphin, Wahoo, Tuna, Sailfish.
Lobster is found under rocks and ledges on both atlantic as well as bay side in shallow water (snorkeling).
Snorkeling is fantastic at numerous nearby reefs and state marine parks (Coffin Patch Reef, Sombrero Reef). This is fisherman’s paradise - Keys best kept secret away from the crowds (ie Islamorada and Key West).
Shared pool and laundry facilities is located a minute or two walking distance.
