We just returned from a week long stay in unit # 10. The efficiency was extremely clean and well supplied with cooking utensils, cleaning supplies, towels, hairdryer, iron and tools for any emergencies. We made good use of the grill after discovering the Key's Fishery fresh seafood market in Marathon! Be sure to buy Florida Pink Shrimp!! The RV park was older but very well maintained and the people very friendly. The laundry building was spotless and the machines handled large loads. We especially enjoyed watching the wildlife at the end of the jetty. There isn't a lot going on right in Grassy Keys but Marathon offered everything we needed, from a Publix's to beautiful Sombraro Beach. Key West was just over an hour away and we went three times during our stay. The apartment is small but extremely functional for two. The patio is set back from the drive and the unit is halfway between the park entrance and the water so it was convienent and quiet. The owners were extremely friendly and propmpt with all responses to questions and verification of payments. Our deposit repayment check arrived very quickly. We would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for an affordable place in the Keys.

We had a great time staying here!! You would never know this nice little cottage is located in a tralier park. We meet and partyed with alot of the snow birds that stay here, all really fun people. I would recommend renting this fun cottage to just about anyone. We had some great fishing on a charter with Captain Chris Morrison out of Tarpon Creek Marina in Marathon, Caught billfish, Amberjack(big ones!!) Cero Mackral. If you are looking for a laid back cozy place to stay, with a really nice pool this is the place for you!! Thanks and we will be back.

My wife and I have stayed here several times over the years. Great people, easy access to the ocean and a wonderful Middle Keys location. The units are well maintained and clean. You can stay as busy as you like and see the sights of the Keys or relax at the Tiki hut or pool.

This is the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. Everything we needed was included in this place. The private courtyard with grill was great for meals. The community is a small one and everyone is very friendly. Hans and Lisa were great to deal with and we even enjoyed an afternoon by the pool with Lisa before we came home. Perfect get a way for a couple just wanting down time. We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything.

Meets all the criteria of what you will need to be comfy and relax after your Keys activities. Neat and clean studio apartment, nice beds, equipped, new kitchen. Bathroom super clean and neat with plush towels. We are both critics, but found nothing wrong with anything! The owners are very attentive to the property. Traveled in July, and the neighborhood was very quiet.

This was really a great vacation! The location was perfect, within driving distance of anywhere we wanted to go. The apartment was charming and we loved the quiet neighborhood. There are so many fun things to do or you can just relax and enjoy the scenery. We enjoyed fishing from the jetties, kayaking and snorkeling. Hope to go back next year.

This is a really great location with everything you need within a few miles. It is also only a short drive to Key West for a visit. The unit is a very clean and nicely decorated with plenty of room for two people and the front porch is a great place to lounge. The community tiki hut is only a short walk and provides ocean breezes and views of the boat docks and ocean. The property and entire community is very well maintained, clean and quiet. I really enjoyed the stay and definitely will be back.

We enjoyed a relaxing week here in April. The apartment had everything we needed. The barbecue was nice to cook on at night. The central location made it easy to get to Key West and then back up without a lot of driving. It was nice and quiet at night. Neighbors were friendly.

If you are looking for the perfect place to enjoy everything the keys have to offer then you definitely should give this place a try! The cottage is clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated. The complex has great ammenities including a protected harbor for your boat (up to 25'), a boat ramp and a jetty that extends out into amazing views of the Atlantic ocean. The fishing, snorkeling and lobstering is literally outside your door and is some of the best the keys has to offer. Whether you just want a place to unwind and read or you want to enjoy the outdoors, this is the place. You can fish from the jetty, a kayak or bring your small boat with you. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and while the winds were up we still managed to catch lobster on the bay side and an assortment of delicious reef fish on the reef just 1 mile straight out from the cottage. The bait was plentiful and we loaded up on pilchards and ballyhoo on the edge of the channel on the way out to the nearby reef. The sheer quantity and variety of fish we caught was shocking compared to what we are used to in Fort Lauderdale! There are a couple of really great restaurants and bars within a short bike or drive. I don't know if I should even leave this review because I would hate to have this hidden gem discovered but the owners (Lisa and Hans) were so accomodating that I feel that I owe them something for the great time we had at such an affordable price. Thanks Lisa and Hans...we will be back!

I have visited this property several times and always enjoyed my stay. The property has been recently refurbished, and is super-clean with fresh paint and new appliances. Lots of clean towels and the quiet A/C make the units very comfortable. But you can find that anywhere. You come here for the activities! I have been fishing, sight-seeing and snorkeling and it is all good. This most recent trip was all about lobster! We caught our limit each day and feasted each night. After dinner, we walked out to the end of the jetty and looked at the stars, with no city light! We also sneaked in a quick evening trip to Key West from here. We hope to visit again soon.

We have stayed at this property several times and always enjoy our time there. The accommodations are charming and laid back. Our last adventure to the keys consisted of three days of lobster hunting with lots of success. We hope to get back to the keys soon!

What a nice piece of paradise this is. The apartment is so cute, clean and well equipped. On this trip we brought with us our 17 foot boat. There is a boat-ramp in the marina, so the boat was in the water in a matter of minutes. There are endless fishing opportunities here. You can even fish from the jetty. There are mangrove snappers, small sharks and large tarpons. With a boat you have easy access to reefs, flats and the bay. Cocktails at happy-hour in the Tiki-Hut was a lot of fun. We cooked our fish every night on the BBQ grill outside. Then, enjoyed dinner on the outside picnic table, eating dinner in the moonlight. We had a great time, and we will be back soon.

If you like a cozy place to barbeque your own caught fish (or some from the neighbors) in the evening, this is it. Great combination of a small hut with a nice place outside where the garden is made to provide you with privacy from the nearby neighbors and at the same time letting you enjoy the facilities at the site. Great place to use a kayak and explore the places nearby. The kids used the pool a lot and we visited the nice dolphin research center just across the street. It was really worthwhile the visit. We also visited Key West where we rented bikes and explored the very special place one of the days. Hans and Lisa has great taste and really want you to enjoy your stay, thanks’ a lot for a great vacation!!

My wife and I have stayed at this location for several years. Anywhere from 1 week to 3 months. It is always clean, has easy access to the ocean and its central location make a trip to the upper or lower Keys easy. The owner is easy to contact either by Cell or EM and any maintenance issues were resolved quickly. You can be as active (fishing, diving, snorkel or walking the Pigeon Key Bridge) as you like or just sit by the pool or at the Tiki Hut and read a book.
