If you are looking for the most charming cottage in OBX, with the ocean just a two minute walk away - You found it! Purchased in 2005 and completely redone by the new owners, this four bedroom, two bath house is just adorable! All main living areas freshly painted, brand new laminate / tile flooring throughout, and all new furniture! Just perfect!
This four bedroom house offers two rooms each with a queen-size bed and then the other two bedrooms each with two twins. This is the perfect house for a family looking to get-away to the Outer Banks or for two small families who want to spend the week together in comfort.
Kitchen and Family Area is wide open with oversized sectional couch and chair with a 32 inch Charter Cable television and DVD player. Three of the four bedrooms also have individual cable tv's w/ DVD player. A positive for those who must travel with their own shows and movies for kids, etc.
A new feature for 2007 is the iHOME under cabinet kitchen stereo system for your iPod. Bring your iPod along so you can enjoy your favorite tunes while hanging out and relaxing! Another new feature is the OBX FREE INTERNET Wi-Fi system that the Beachbook is installing throughout the entire Outer Banks. There are many antennas being placed throughout the Outer Banks and we have found that we get a pretty decent signal on our W-Fi compatible laptop. Often the best signal is found out on the deck so bring your morning coffee or your afternoon cocktail outside to the deck while staying connected to the Internet!
Kill Devil Hills is a great location with so many activities offered nearby. Spend the day at the beach or visit any of the four lighthouses, the Wright Brothers, Memorial, Jockey Ridge State Park, or Corolla's wild horses. You might want a piece of history by visiting Roanoke Island or golfers are sure to find a course to please them while the family can also try a game or two of putt-putt. There is lots of pier and surf fishing available and you can take a charter fish trip out as well. There are a variety of water sports, including scuba and if under the water does not do it for you try bowling, go-carts, horseback riding, bike riding, or so much more! This is a wonderful home in a great location for any family to find some fun!
