Our families gathered from Illinois, New Mexico, Arizona, Alaska, Oregon & California in your beautiful home and garden for the nuptuals. The usual Eureka mist and fog abated for our event; skies were sunny and warm with billowy clouds. The meals we prepared in your restaurant-style well-stocked kitchen were enjoyed al fresco on the wide porch. At night we slept with windows open to enjoy the fresh breezes and the symphony of the frogs. All in all a great experience! Thanks!

We misplaced our guestbook for 2007, so no comments for this vacation season!

Renee: I had a lot of fun at your house. We made 2 blackberry pies out of the blackberries in your yard. The upstairs beds were very comfy. Playing ping-pong was a blast, and so was the tree house. The county fair was also really awesome! Once again, we had a blast, thank you! Dana: I had lots and lots of fun at your house. I enjoyed playing ping pong. I was amazed how many blackberries there were? We made whole pies with the blackberries! We also went to the county fair. It was really fun! I also won some prizes. The beds were so comfy, it felt like you were sleeping on clouds! I had a great time here! Thanks!

Cristin: Thanks so much for making available your great craftsman-style home. It was all the more wonderful to spend some time in the woods in a Craftsman as we are putting our own on the market when we return to San Jose. We have purchased an equally beautiful home, but it does not have the "wood" spirit of a Craftsman. Our stay in Eureka/Humboldt area has been fun, relaxing, and full of exploration. Some highlights include walks in the Redwoods, swimming in the Eel River at Foundation Grove, splashing in the ocean and playing in the sand as well as lots of nice walks in downtown Eureka, Arcata, and Ferndale. The children especially liked the elves that live in the trees around here (grin). Celeste: Thank you for letting us stay at your house. We went elf hunting in the yard.

What a lovely house and gorgeous site. We loved walking to the end of Blue Blossom Lane. Our highlights were seeing the birds at the Arcata Marsh, and hiking Patrick's Point and Trinidad Head. The only low, really, was the intense allergic reaction Mark had to all the pollen in the air. We tried to stick to coastal hikes and that helped somewhat. Thanks for sharing your house with us. It was great!
