Located in a tourist-free location, it is just minutes away from downtown Palm Springs yet also conveniently located to give you fast and easy access to everything else the valley has to offer in terms of entertainment, shopping, culture, and outdoor activities.
Since we ourselves spend quite a bit of time at our second home in Palm Springs, we have designed, furnished, and appointed it in a way that we think is both tasteful and engaging while providing maximum comfort for day-to-day living as well as formal entertaining. Even though we rent it out, above all this house is our home and we hope the difference shows in the quality of the experience you encounter at every turn.
Our fully-equipped kitchen (with cookware, dinnerware, and European appliances) is designed to support and withstand the rigorous demands of Julia Child. We have put in place a 21st century technology infrastructure (PC and printer on location, wired and wireless Internet, cable TV, four-zone in-home and outdoor stereo system that is iPod ready, voice-over-IP for unlimited local and long distance calling, etc.) so you can do business by the pool - and no one will be the wiser for it.
The perfectly private backyard features complete patio furniture sets, chaises and a top-notch barbecue grill to encourage the outdoor lifestyle that Palm Springs is famous for. The home itself features a desert-inspired color scheme that is both fun and sophisticated - and furniture, art and accessories that speak of quality and considered thoughtfulness but at the same time invite you to settle in, relax, and replenish.
Through the wide-open sliding glass doors in the living and master bedroom, a seamless indoor-outdoor transition is created that flows from the interior to the southward-facing, sun-drenched pool terrace and that seems to make the serenity of the outdoors part of the inner experience of the house.
