This round house is a dovecote of the XVII century. It is located in the countryside, in a farmhouse, the place is quiet and clean. No immediate neighbor.
Built in brick of St John, flint and sandstone.
The owners live in the farm house on the same property.

The cottage includes a kitchen open to the living / dining area.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric convection oven, 3 gas, an electric hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a breadboard, a grill bread, kettle and fridge / freezer.
The living / dining area is equipped with a sofa, armchairs, a flat screen TV with DVD player, and a large table 6/8 places to take meals. Extensions available.

1st floor
A beautiful master bedroom (bed 1.40 x 1.90) with lots of charm, bricks and exposed beams.

A bathroom with shower, sink, washing machine, towel dryer, hair dryer. The toilets are independent.

2nd floor
A room for children, the room and round shaped tipi. 3 beds 0.90 x 1.90.

The garden is private and fenced, a space is reserved to park two cars.
Children can go tobogganing, swinging, sandcastles ... You can dine outside, grill.

Located halfway between Rouen and Dieppe, access is easy by the highway. From there we can go to visit all the local cultural and artistic wealth. The sea is not far.

From here you can easily discover the Normandy coast Dieppe cliffs, the beach, the harbor. You can also visit Etretat and these famous cliffs. Make a pleasant walk in Veules les Roses (one of the most beautiful villages in France). Stroll the streets of Rouen, admire the half-timbered houses, visit the magnificent belfry said "The big clock" 400kg clock and a diameter of 2.50m, visit the majestic Gothic cathedral, where the church of St. Joan of Arc completed in 1979.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay for a long weekend away from Paris. The property is very well maintained and is well situated for exploring the Normandy area. It's great for small kids in particular, as you have a private yard with a playground and sand pit. In addition, the accommodation is located on a farm with animals, which my children enjoyed observing. My only feedback for the owners would be to make clear on the website the additional charges for sheets, towels, electricity, and water usage. Unless I'm mistaken, this information is not detailed on the site, so people may be surprised about the extra charges. Overall, it's a very quiet, family-friendly option for those looking for a short getaway from Paris or those looking to explore the region. I highly recommend!

Perfect for a relaxing getaway with family

A beautifully renovated old dovecote on a working farm in Normandy. This was the perfect vacation home for our family. The garden is completely fenced off, so our three young children and our dog could roam freely. The kids loved the outdoor playset, the sandbox and the swimming pool. They also loved their room on the top floor. The surroundings are beautiful and very secluded. We enjoyed our daily walks. Claire was very welcoming and provided useful information about the sites to visit. Highly recommended!

Gite fantastique !

Le calme et la sérénité ! Gite absolument merveilleux, tout est pensé dans les moindres détails... Quel bonheur de dormir, vivre dans un lieu si chargé d'histoire !!! Une semaine en gite dans un colombier Normand

le gite (un ancien colombier) est magnifiquement rénové, fonctionnel et bien équipé. De l'intérieur à travers ses ouvertures, on découvre le nature Normande: le clos masure avec ses immenses arbres, les vaches au pied de la fenêtre, les pommiers et la ferme qui vit autour de nous. Bien situé géographiquement entre ROUEN et DIEPPE et facile d"accès par la voie rapide, il nous a permis de découvrir également les Boucles de la Seine, les falaises d' ETRETAT et le Pays de Caux. La gentillesse des propriétaires et de leurs enfants et la qualité de l'accueil consolide notre appréciation, c'est un gîte à découvrir et à faire connaitre. Une famille du MAINE ET LOIRE (49)

Séjour relaxant

Ce fut un séjour très agréable. Claire et Phillippe ont été très serviables. Les enfants ont adoré les jouets, les balançoires, la piscine, les animaux de la ferme et les tracteurs. Je recommanderais cet gite à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour relaxant.
