Dennis was great to work with, he answered all questions in a timely manner. The condo was beautifully decorated. Upon arrival the condo was clean and everything looked new. If I ever make it back to HHI I will definitely look into this property again. The condo is close to everything you need, the grocery store, lots of restaurants and the beach. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Relaxing Getaway

We loved our vacation at Springwood Villa! The villa was clean, spacious and had a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. We liked that all the bedrooms had their own private bathrooms. We enjoyed bicycling around the island and on the beach. We liked swimming in the outdoor and indoor pools. There are so many shops and restaurants within walking/biking distance of the villa that we barely drove our van anywhere. We did take a daytrip to Savannah, GA (which is only 1 hour away). We strolled along River Street where we saw various shops, restaurants and the occasional gigantic cargo ship pass by. We also admired the city's beautiful homes and cathedral. If we come back to Hilton Head Island we will definitely stay at Springwood Villa again! The owner was a pleasure to work with and very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at this villa. It had plenty of space for our family of four. The condo was very clean and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the balcony at night with our extended family who was staying right next door. The villa had a pool we visited daily with our small children. The beach was a quick walk or bicycle ride away. This was one of the most memorable vacations for our family. The owners were very accommodating and great to work with. We highly recommend this villa rental!

I cannot begin to explain my satisfaction during our stay at this villa. The description was completely accurate and then some. (i.e. The villa is centrally located; we were minutes from a grocery store, dining, Cligny Beach, and the two Harbors were a 10 minute ride away.) The villa was updated, tastefully decorated and very clean. The owner was on hand to answer any questions usually within an hour of my contacting him. I would recommend this Villa to anybody who wants to plan a beautiful vacation located near shopping, a beautful beach and wonderful dining experiences.

Owner response:Location to the beach, shopping and restaurants seems to be a key priority on the part of most of our tenants. Our villa, although not on the beach, is just a short walk to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and Coligny Beach. For biking enthusiasts,the bicycle paths allow you to go anywhere on Hilton Head Island without competing with auto traffic.

Spacious Villa

We enjoyed our stay in this villa immensely. The unit is very spacious especially the bathrooms. Having four children on our trip we found it so convenient that two bedrooms and baths were located upstairs which worked out beautifully for our group. The owner went above and beyond to insure our complete satisfaction regarding our stay and we booked at the last minute. Dennis checked to make sure we arrived safely and I thought the directions he printed from our home to the villa was such a thoughtful touch. The beach area was crowded during our stay from 11am - 4pm. However, if you went earlier or later it was like a different beach. We found lots of sand dollars and starfish in the ocean which our children thoroughly enjoyed. The pool was very private. I would mention that our children are ages 8 - 11 and like to have boogie boards, skim boards, and such at the beach. The free shuttle would not accomodate all of our beach gear (it's a golf cart) and we had too much to carry on our bikes. It was too far to walk with our belongings so we just drove to the beach and enjoyed the free parking across from Coligny Beach access which was a very short distance from the house. Thought it might be helpful for those staying here in the future to know that.

Spacious Villa

I would like to thank Dennis for his very quick communication, from the first e-mail inquiring about villa to his follow up when we arrived home. The condo was just as described, clean and roomy compared to other villa's we had rented in the Forest Beach area. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The outdoor balcony was large, we enjoyed the palm trees and the lagoon and even a nice thunderstorm. The beach is only a 5 to 10 min walk and we visited the Players Club athletic club, which was very nice. We hope to stay here again soon.

Owner response:Responding quickly to emails from potential renters is critical. Many of my friends have used VRBO to seek vacation rentals and their inquiries are not responded to. I make a practice of getting back to those who inquire within 24 hours or less. Additionally, upon arrival each renter receives either an email or phone call to determine if all is well and accommodations are suitable. Dennis Harbour, owner

We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. We vacation yearly on Hilton Head Island, but due to our numbers this time looked for a bigger condo. This was everything as advertized. Spacious, walking and biking distance to the beach, shopping, and eateries. We highly recommend this choice.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa! It was spacious, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. The location was excellent and we took full advantage of the free beach shuttle service. From inquiry and booking until our check-out at the end of our stay, the owners were extremely helpful and hospitable. They went above and beyond in every detail. We will definitely be returning and hope to enjoy a longer stay next time!

Even though our villa is an easy walk to the beach, the free beach shuttle seems to be something that people, especially with children, really like.

What a wonderful place to make your home for a week! The owners are so accomodating and nice to work with however, that is just one of the best parts. I was so impressed by the condo having everything one could need particularly in the kitchen. The condo is in excellent shape, is comfortable, clean, and relaxing. We really enjoyed riding our bikes to the beach and the wonderful restaurants nearby. The bedrooms are very roomy and everything worked well. The pool was refreshing and the back deck (although small for 6 people :) provided lovely views of the lagoon and wildlife. I still cannot believe the value we got in renting this amazing condo and would highly recommend!

The condo was spacious and well maintained. location was great - close to shopping and the beach was only a few blocks away. The owner was very helpful with everything, giving us information if we needed it. He quickly responded to all our questions. We will definitely stay here again. Great value! And the kitchen was well stocked. We had a wonderful time!!

Without question the majority of people that respond are delighted with the cleanliness, decor and overall condition of our villa. We continually update furniture and fixtures, as well as painting and general maintenance. Secondly, location to the beach and shops and restaurants is critical to renters. Springwood Villas is located in the heart of Hilton Head, with everything accessible by walking or accessing the wonderful bike paths throughout the Island. The beach is a short walk of 5 to 7 minutes. A free shuttle is also available.

Amazing Vacation!!

This is our second stay in in this condo and we will return next year. Everything is as advertised and it has all the amenities that you could ask for while on vacation. Almost all the activities that we took part in were less than a five minute walk away. We walked to dinner, the beach, for ice cream, mini golf etc...and the bi-lo grocery store was right around the corner. The private pool was much quieter than a resort pool and a welcome change of pace for an early morning or late evening swim. For those who need to stay connected, the wireless internet is a welcome convenience. The ownwers were easy to work with and went out of their way to ensure our vacation was great!

family vacation @ Hilton Head

This our second year of renting this condo for a family vacation. It has 3 bedrooms & 3.5 bathrooms which makes it ideal for all occupants to have their individual privacy. It is in an ideal location on Hilton Head. It is within close walking distance to many restaurants, golf courses,retail stores,super market, & the beach. I would highly recommend it for anyone who is interested vacationing in the HH area! We are already looking forward to our vacation there next summer!!

My family LOVED this villa. It was spacious and very well maintained. This was our first trip to Hilton Head and the location was beautiful. Clean, well-maintained, cheery, and well-located are a couple of apt descriptions. When we arrived we were impressed by how clean and neat that the condo was. Photos of the condo are very accurate in describing the facility. Many activities/sites on the island are accessible by bike or by foot from the condo. The island had miles and miles of bike/walking paths. We had a wonderful time at this wonderful place. Can't wait to come back again in the near future.
