We very much enjoyed this home for new years 2010-11. A lovely 15-minute walk to downtown; quiet, clean, and easy. Owners were excellent to work with. Oh~ and we all agreed that this home is THE most tastefully decorated beach home we have ever stayed in. j

There were no surprises at the Puffin House. Everything was in order and it was very comfortable for the 5 of us. I actually wished we'd had younger children to bring along. We didn't use the bicycles but there are LOTS of them. The house is an easy walk to the beach, downtown, and the state park.

My friend and I had a great time here. The fire pit in the backyard is such a great place to hang out until late night. I appreciated the hardwood, the fully functional and equipped kitchen, and the location is great. It is on a quiet street about a five minute walk away from the beach.

We had a great time at the Puffin house. It was very nicely decorated, clean, and the amenities were good. Our kids (5 & 8) especially liked their downstairs bunk room, with a nice selection of games and toys. The transaction was easy; Kamala was great. The house is a few blocks from the beach, but RIGHT at the entrance to the park, so great for hikers. It's not a hard walk to the beach, either. Beds comfortable. You won't be disappointed!

We had a great stay at the Puffin House. The kitchen is well equipped, and the house is just a short walk to the beach. The back deck was perfect for the sunny early fall afternoons. Thanks!

We had a wonderful time at the Puffin House this August. The owners were kind enough to let us have our wedding reception there. It was beautiful! Close to the beach, everything we needed. Thank you!!!

We had such a wonderful three days at the Puffin House. We made good use of the bikes, the grill, the fireplace, and the good books tucked away in the bookshelves. The house could not be more comfortable or lovely. Our group traveled eight hours to reach the Oregon Coast, and the Puffin House exceeded our (already high) expectations. What a great vacation home!

The house was wonderful, nicely furnished and very close to be able to walk into town via the road or the beach. We spent alot of time relaxing on the sunny deck and listening to all the birds and wind whispering through the beach pines. It was perfect for our 3 day stay in Manzanita. The only downside is that there was lots of RV traffic driving by to get to the state park that is literally steps away from the front door.

Hi Kammie, We love your home, it was just right for the two of us. We painted at the dining room table while we listened to your cd's. We enjoyed your beach glass book and all the cool art in the house. We layed out on the back deck, BBQ'd and played our drums. The house was very clean and comfortable. We especially liked the cozy down comforters! Thanks for your wonderful hospitality, it was refreshing. Smiles,Julie and Jesse.

This cabin was perfect for our family getaway! Four little boys fit perfectly in the bunk room and the upstairs bedrooms are thoughtfully situated (no shared walls). Short walk to a stunning (if chilly) beach. Cabin had pretty much everything we needed, and Kamala, the cabin's owner was very gracious. Great value also! Recommended. Thanks Kamala!!

The Puffin House is a warm, charming place to relax and enjoy! I am a frequent guest here and leave always wanting to stay longer. Walking distance to the ocean, the town of Manzanita takes great pride in the beach and town. There are various charming shops and restaurants, and good take out! The Puffin house has proven to be a great spot for family vacations with the bunkhouse, which the kids love. I will definately be back!

It was a pleasure to stay at "Puffin House" last fall. It was the perfect place for our "women's get away weekend". Very charming, clean and tastefully decorated. There is a large gathering table off the kitchen and living room which are open to each other. The beds are comofortable and have nice linens and coverings. The bunkroom is fun for friends and families. There is an easy and pleasant walk to the beach through the quaint neighborhood. The beach is great, lots of sand to roam and not crowded. Manzanita is very charming and has many shops and restaurant that are interesting and fun. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to go back to this relaxing little town and the Puffin House!

This house is luxurious and beautifully furnished. The beds are heaven! Minutes to the charming town of Manzanita, to the beach, or to a great hiking trail leading to a secluded bay. Bikes are furnished. Spacious yet cozy, privante yet convenient. Highly recommended

It was wonderful staying at the Puffin House situated in a park-like setting but within walking distance to the beautiful Manzanita beach. The house is immaculent, comfortable, and very well decorated. It is perfect for a women's retreat, a family getaway, or simply an individual. I will definitely be back!

The location of this house is great, because it is near the beach, the bay and across from the park, all of which offer long marvellous walking paths and biking fun amidst trees and wildflowers -- so you have the best of many worlds. The bay has endless sun-bleached tree "sculptures" giving you endless joy in imagining the true meaning of each -- not to mention the edge-of-water walks in sun-drenched, calm water with birds swooping down -- while the beach offers the opposite, a wild, white sand, dune-hilled landscape with ever-crashing waves and tides and gorgeous sunsets that you don't want ever to end. The house itself has all the amenities that meets modern needs, yet the wood stove makes you feel you're surrounded with old-time comfort. It's a house designed for family, friends and fun.

A great house and I loved having the bicycles - especially the one with the basket - a fun way to do the shopping! The fireplace was great as well. Thanks!
