This 30 year old home has been completely renovated. Mix the charm of a mountain retreat with modern amenities, large upgraded kitchen with island, 2 baths,large wrap-around deck located on a wooded lot.
Main floor has an open floor plan featuring a large kitchen with island seating, Living room with brick fireplace with Early American gas log stove, Dining area, six bedrooms, full bath and tons of "charm". Lower level has large recreation room with Bistro-type bar, game and TV areas, two bedrooms with queen size beds, two bedrooms with full size beds, and two bedrooms with two twin beds in each. A full bath and laundry room with washer and dryer are also available.

This home is within walking distance of the heated outdoor pool and recreation center and within 20 minutes of all major Pocono Mountain attractions: Minor league baseball, Pocono Speedway, Steamtown USA, the Crossings Factory Shopping Outlets, and five major ski resorts.
Big Bass Lake is a secure upscale gated community built around three pristine lakes and a cold water stream stocked with trout. It is rated the #1 vacation community in the Pocono's. No loud neighbors! No pollution! Just wholesome fun; nature at its finest and clean air and water.
Our lakes feature white, clean, sandy beaches with protected swimming areas, and areas for canoeing and sailing as well as ice fishing and skating in Winter.
There are fully equipped playgrounds and picnic areas, six professional krylon surface tennis courts, and full basketball courts. Our recreation center features a heated Olympic-size pool and a Kiddie pool. Our Recreation staff offers daily supervised activities for children and families up until Labor Day Weekend.
Our Winter center features a heated indoor pool, sauna, gameroom and outdoor deck overlooking a ski and tubing hill.
PLEASE NOTE: We cannot allow pets and we do not permit smoking inside our properties. Violation of our Non-Smoking/Pet policy will result in a forfeit of security deposit. Also note, 14 persons overnight is the limit for this property. Anyone who violates the occupancy limit will forfeit the security deposit and may have to vacate the property. RENTERS MUST BE 23 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER!!
Renters must follow Big Bass Lake Association Rules and Regulations.

Just came back from our Annual Ladies Weekend. Clean and comfortable, the house was perfect for us! Plenty of beds and space to relax, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Thanks for a great weekend! I'm sure we will be back!

We have rented this house 4 times in the past 3 yrs. You can walk to the outdoor pool and rec center. Perfect house for two families. Love the horseshoe pits in the yard.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

This house had everything we were looking for - 6 bedrooms plus a pull-out sofa bed. It was decorated like a real mountain lodge. The kids loved the ski and tubing hills as well as the great indoor heated pool next to the ski hill. We are going to try a week in the summer. We had a great time.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

My family and I enjoyed Xmas at the log house and found it charming. Lots of space. It was pretty neat to feed the deer off of the back deck, the children were thrilled about that experience. Very close to the ski hill and the indoor heated pool.
Recommended for:Families with young children.

My large family stayed in this house last winter and were very disappointed. The house has 2 levels, but we could only use the upper level as the heat was not working in the lower level. The owner had placed space heaters around to warm the lower level but they were mostly broken and did not keep the January chill away. We were not able to use this level at all, which meant that too many people were stuck using the only bathroom on the main level. In addition, make sure to bring basics such as toilet paper, garbage bags, and paper towels, as none were provided. The kitchen was adequate though the pots and pans were very old and need to be replaced. This isn't unusual for a rental house... just disappointing. The beds are old and not very comfortable, but again, this is rather customary for a rental house. Finally, make sure you call the owner and remind him to check that the drive is plowed before you come and then again on your way there -- we arrived to an impassable driveway and had to wait hours in our car for someone to come and clear it. Overall, not impressed with the house and we will not be coming back.
