"Fantastic!!" My husband and I just stayed at Nani Kai Hale unit #404 from March 29th 2013 - to april 6th! My husband and I travel a lot, but this was the first time we had rented a condo through the internet. Our experience from start to finish was exceptional! Our communication and dealings back and forth with Jennifer and Rolf were effortless. They made the experience feel safe and secure. We had a beautiful welcome package when we arrived at the unit. All I can say is " what you see, is what you get"!! This unit was exactly as the pictures portrayed. The unit was super clean and comfortable. The king size bad was great! Everything you need for a home away from home was included in this unit. We loved the location as well. We travelled the entire island and found our place was the best! The area is private and quiet and absolutely beautiful! There are no crowds here at Sugar Beach and it almost feels like you own the place yourself! This unit is in a great central location to so many amenities. I loved the fact that after a day of exploring I always felt like I was at "home" at the end of the day! Beautiful place, Wonderful people and definitely would go back to this unit and location again!

My wife are currently staying at this property as I write this review. Everything that is presented in the description is just as it says. We arrived and found the condo ready for our visit. The owners have been very helpful in the rental of the property. The condo was very clean. They even provided us with a great welcome basket. Location, Location, Location, This was centrally located to all of the attractions that we had planned. My wife and I prefer to rent a condo instead of staying at a resort and this was well worth it. The other guests and regular residents were very friendly. I highly recommend this condo, you wont be disappointed.

This unit was perfect. It was a wonderful location, beautifully decorated, amazingly clean including live orchid touches in the bathrooms! We never expected to find a goodie box with candy and other delights waiting for us when we arrived. A great surprise. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well listening to the ocean and feeling the breezes. The owners thought of everything to make our stay totally relaxing. Every time I needed something, it was there. (Detergent, pens, paper, extra beach towels, games, books, binoculars, etc.) The kitchen was fully equipped and there was a complete book of places to eat, things to do and Maui history. Most places do not go to this extent to make sure a guest has everything they need. It was a real pleasure to stay at this unit and to deal with the warm and helpful owners. You'll be delighted with the entire experience.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

First of all, the property was very centrally located for our stay. It was easy to get from Point A to Point B in pretty much no time at all. Therefore, the location was fantastic. Secondly, the condo was extremely clean and wonderfully decorated. Jennifer and Rolf had everything that you could think of at the tip of your fingertips! The accomodations were wonderful. It really was home away from home! The only thing that we had to worry about was...well nothing. Relaxation and enjoying the island of Maui was all that we had planned. We would have absolutely no hesitation in referring this condo to our family and friends, or to anyone who was planning to have a wonderful vacation in Maui. Jennifer was fantastic to deal with from the moment we made our reservation to the arrival of our plane back home. In fact, a surprising phone call to the condo during the beginning of our stay was a wonderful touch. She made us feel so welcome in her home from the get go. Make a reservation and you will not be disappointed you did!! Enjoy!!

Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is the second time we have stayed with you and it doesn't disappoint. Great location, nice property and no surprises

My wife and I visited Maui for the 3rd time, this time without the kids. We were looking for a good location with beach access, comfortable living quarters, a nice view of the ocean, and amenities that would allow us to prepares some of our meals. We were not disappointed with Nani Kai Hale. The property was accurately represented and is located right on the beach. The beach is not crowded and often you might be the only ones in the water for a mile or so. The condo location is off the grill and beachfront proper, but still maintains a nice view of the Pacific. The lanai is covered with the deck above and located on the north side of the building which keeps you in the shade for half of the day and is quiet. You can see the sun set off the lanai. Your neigbors are a sod farm which creates no noise or commotion. The building has a nice elevator and there are carts available to help with bags or groceries. Parking was very ample and right next to the building. Nani Kai Hale is located just off the confluence of two major roads and therefore allows access to the entire island easily. There is considerable traffic on the roads, but that is the nature of the beast on Maui. There are few major roads and everyone has to take them to get anywhere. If you want the touristy thing, you can drive down Kihei road south from the condo. Anything you might want can be found there. I would like to conclude by saying that Jennifer was very nice to us and made sure that we were up to speed with everything one might need and answered any questions that came to our mind. Internet and cable TV was there and worked perfectly. I would very much recommend this property for anyone looking to come to the island.

A Must Stay in Maui

We had a great time staying in your Hawaii home! The location is fantastic....centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go! The grounds were well kept and the grill area was functional with plenty of counter space for many people to use. The beach was quiet and a great place to enjoy the beautiful Maui sunsets. The condo was extremely comfortable...makes you feel at home from the moment you enter. Everything you need is available to you in the condo....from cooking supplies to very comfortable beach chairs. We would recommend this condo and hope to be back soon!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

our 25th wedding anniversary home away from home for 7 days

Our first visit to Maui was to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary 1) loved the keyless entry never having to leave to visit maui and wondering where the keys were....actually now thinking of getting one for our home...LOL 2) very clean and well decorated. 3) everything we needed was there and more... if we used it up we purchased a replacement. 4) new elevator and the property manager keeps the grounds very well maintained 5) washer and dryer on all floors... 6) wifi included in the price 7) owner called us on day 2 to make sure that everything was ok and if we needed anything. 8) welcome gift upon arrival (coffee, cookies and tea from the island) 9) new fridge, stove and dishwasher 10) all dishes pots& pans and cutlery are new. 11) beachfront property on beautiful sugar beach and BEST of all location location location. this condo in N. Kihei is conveniently located 15 minutes from the airport and makes it very easy to reach any part of the island.

The Perfect Setting for a wonderful holiday

There is truly not enough space to describe this little piece of paradise. The condo is located on the 4th floor and has view of adjacent land (where birds spend their days) and water view. It is very relaxing and spacious, with a well equipped galley kitchen a living room with large LCD TV, DVD/CD player. There is a Safeway 1 mile away where you can pick up DVD for $1 per day/rental. The bedroom has a very comfy King Size bed, with full master bath, large closet with lots of beach apparels and second full size bathroom as you enter the condo. The unit has AC, but we did not need it as we left the living room patio door and master bedroom patio door open, which created a nice wind throughout the day and night.The condo has all the amenities you can think of and it is nice to arrive to a condo fully stock in everything you will need; shampoo, kleenex, dishwasher soap, all kind of cleaning stuff. The condo is very clean and nicely furnished. There are many repeater guests at this condo and they made us feel welcome right away. There are BBQ (gaz) free to use and mini-fridge to store your food and drink. Everyday I brought my Mai Tai and sip it while suntanning. The sandy beach is not wide, but very long and quiet - almost deserted. The waves are good enough to play in the water, but not so strong to be worried if you have small children. The condo is just beautiful, with free WiFi and telephone. I had a small question about the DVD and Rolf called me in the condo to help me. What a great service! Jennifer and Rolf went above and beyond in assisting us with a last minute request to leave the condo at a later time. This was our first attempt at VRBO and I have to say that I was very impressed with Jennifer and Rolf and would highly recommend their condo. I suggest renting a car, as there is free parking on site. We did the ''Road to Hana'' - count a full day and bring good grip shoes to hike to the falls - what a sight (please use the 'Maui Revealed' book available in the unit - it is the bible of Maui travelers). My husband played Golf at the Wailea Emerald course (amazing view) and the Plantation course in Kapalua (they have incredible active military rate). We did a Dolphin excursion with the organization that support the Kihei Youth Centre (sorry, forgot their name) and it was the best, with dolphins swimming and spinning within few feet from the boat. We hiked to Diamond Crater and suntan by the condo every day. We will be returning again and again.Mahalo

We had a very nice and relaxing stay in your condo. It is so well equipped and very clean. All the little extras were appreciated. September is a great month to come to Maui as it is quiet with no crowds. I would often have the pool in the complex all to my self! This is our second stay at Nani Kai Hale and we will definitely be back again.

Hi Jennifer and Rolf, I just wanted to let you both know that we had a wonderful vacation at your condo in Maui. It is such a great place and you have decorated it beautifully. We love the fact that you can walk or run for miles on the beach. The other residents are very friendly and helpful. We had great weather and we even got to see a whale off in the distance from the beach. I loved the fact that it is not a big busy place, it made it very relaxing. Everyone of our friends enjoyed it as much as we did and we all would like to return sometime in the future. Thanks so much for sharing your Hawaiian home with us!

We had a wonderful week in your beautifully appointed suite on Sugar Beach. We loved relaxing on the lanai admiring the ocean and the mountains and yes, we saw whales breaching . Enjoyed direct access to the beach, where we walked for miles every morning!

We spent our honeymoon at the Maui Oceanside beachfront condo and it was absolutely wonderful! The condo really had the essence of Hawaii in both its décor and great view of the beach from the balcony (lanai). Not only was the beach merely steps from the complex, it was very unpopulated making it a romantic place to watch the sun set. It was also great having the option of the pool next to the ocean so that we could have the ambiance but not the sand!It was also nice to have the free high-speed internet for the times when we needed to research local places of interest. It helped plan our days on the island and was perfect for accessing some authentic Hawaiian slat key guitar music while relaxing inside after a long day. The kitchen also provided the convenience for when we needed to save some money and cook food ourselves.Everything about the condo exceeded our expectations and was a great Hawaiian experience. We highly recommend this condo as the perfect place to stay when visiting Maui.

Hello Jennifer: We got back from Hawaii on Wednesday and had a wonderful visit. We were there for 2 weeks and my parents joined us for the first week. It was their first visit to Hawaii and they had the time of their lives. After they left we moved into your Sugar Beach condo and enjoyed another beautiful week. Your unit is very nicely furnished and we were extremely comfortable there. Thank you for sharing your Maui vacation condo with us. Jennifer, Just wanted to say thank you for the use of your condo. We had a great time and couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. Everything we needed was provided and we had a great time. Our son had gotten there earlier and they were disappointed in their accomodations and my brother had the same experience so we were a little nervous about what we might find when we arrived but were extremely happy with your condo. Rolf and Jennifer...Thanks so much for the use of you lovely condo. Rak and I had a wonderful time. We had not been to Maui since 1982 and planned this trip only because of the wedding of our best friends' daughter. We will certainly return again. Our first visit to Maui was to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. On a recommendation we chose to stay in this beautiful beachfront condo and will be forever thankful for that recommendation. In return we would highly recommend this as the only place to stay when you visit Maui! The location in N. Kihei is convenient to the airport and makes it very easy to reach any part of the island. The condo is spacious, beautifully decorated, maintained as well as any top rated hotel, and has a phenominal view of the ocean from the lanai. In fact the view of each day's sunset over the West Maui Montains is one of our favorite memories and not to be missed; each one was truly incredible! The last reason we recommend this condo is the wealth of information that was shared so freely with us by the condo's owners. That is something not available when you stay in other condos and/or hotels. Their personal knowledge of local services, restuarants and what to see was invaluable, made our decisions about how to spend our time very easy and simply made our vacation the best we have ever had! Make your reservations today... 4 Stars and 2 Thumbs Up!!!!
