Quiet three bedroom, two bath non-smoking/non-pet condo with balcony overlooking Ten Mile Creek and Mount Royal. Our second floor end unit was fully remodeled and updated in November 2007, and it is tastefully appointed with pine furnishings, hand made quilts, and cozy mountain decor.
The master bedroom has a queen sized bed with a pillow-top mattress, and a private bath with a shower. The second bedroom also has a queen sized bed, with access to the main bath, which has a tub and shower. The third bedroom has a full sized bed, with a vanity and mirror tucked into an alcove. The kitchen is very well equipped, including beautiful dinnerware, most common small appliances, assortment of cookware, baking, and serving dishes, basic pantry items, and paper goods.
A pine wall in the entrance adjoins a beautiful Virginia Ledgestone wall surrounding the wood-burning fireplace. A large picture window overlooking Ten Mile Creek was added to the master bedroom. The master bath has a new terra cotta slate tile shower, with a river rock floor and border added as accents. The same floor tile was added in the hallway bath, kitchen, entry and in front of the fireplace. The kitchen and bathroom vanity cabinets were replaced with rich rustic alder cabinets and granite tops; low-voltage lighting was added under and over the kitchen cabinets for ambiance and efficient task lighting. State-of-the-art clean-steel appliances were added in the kitchen. New light fixtures and lamps throughout. An antique brown leather couch and chair blend beautifully with the warm beige walls and carpeting. New full sized pine headboard, and additional pine woodwork throughout to blend with the other natural woods. Several new quilts; a Minnesota Sampler hangs on the wall in the dining area, a Double X is on one of the beds, and a Rail Fence, a Modified Double Nine Patch, and a Strip Bow are on the quilt rack for snuggling up to read or watch TV!
We just recently added wireless high speed internet to our condo, in addition to the connection in our Clubhouse. There are board games, and often times shared books and magazines for your reading pleasure. There are quilts everywhere - on the beds, a quilt rack, and wall hangings throughout the condo! We furnished and decorated our condo to reflect our casual lifestyle, and to offer warmth and coziness on a cold winter day or a cool summer evening. You will find the sound of water rushing down Ten Mile Creek to be very soothing and relaxing.
We have a fantastic Clubhouse, which includes a laundry room, a heated indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, and changing rooms with showers, all adjacent to a large meeting/gathering room which includes a kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, TV, stereo, wireless internet connection, comfortable furnishings, and an outdoor gas grill. The entire Clubhouse was also updated in the Fall of 2007, and the warm blend of beiges and brown tones in the carpeting, slate tile, window coverings and wall colors complement the new cultured stone around the fireplace, leather, tapestry and wood furnishings, new cabinets, and ambient lighting. The meeting/gathering room can be reserved through our Ten Mile Island Manager. There is also a basketball hoop, tether-ball, and horseshoe pit outside the Clubhouse for parking lot entertainment.
There are two coin-operated laundry areas in the complex, and if you are visiting over the holiday season, you will be treated to our Association's holiday light display!
There are additional condos at Ten Mile Island that are listed with VRBO if you are interested in renting multiple units for groups, families, and reunions.
We are a block off Main Street, and only a few blocks and a short walk to downtown Frisco, where you can enjoy the small town ambiance of shops, coffee bars, restaurants, and dining and drinks on the decks. The Frisco Marina on Lake Dillon is within walking distance. We are centrally located to all ski resorts in Summit County; Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Loveland, and Arapahoe Basin are all within 10-20 minutes of our condo. The free Summit Stage provides transportation to all of the Summit County ski areas and towns, as well as the Silverthorne Factory Outlet stores, and it stops 2 blocks from our condo. Vail and Beaver Creek are about 30 minutes West of us.
There are recreational activities for all seasons and for all interests. The scenery is incredible for jogging and walking! We are on the bike path, and it is an easy ride to Dillon or Breckenridge for lunch or the Farmers Market in the Summer. Frisco is a fun place to walk anywhere - to the Log Cabin, Pik-A-Bagel or Butterhorn bakery for breakfast, to shop, to the Back Country Brewery for microbrews, to the Post Office or Internet Cafe, to the Blue Spruce for fine dining or a great burger, or even just a scenic walk around the town to revel in the beauty of the majestic Rocky Mountains! |
