Welcome to our wonderful beach house "Sunshine" on the beautiful Fort Morgan Peninsula. Sunshine is a professionally decorated five-bedroom, three-bathroom beach house located in the upscale Morgantown beach community. You will enjoy strict architectural controls, buried utilities, beautiful landscaping, 2 swimming pools, 2 tennis courts, and a gorgeous beach. Be prepared to relax!!
My goal is simple....to underpromise and to overdeliver on all of my beach rental properties. I want to give you the absolute best value in vacation rentals today. Sunshine comes equipped with three king beds, four twin beds, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The home features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, crown molding, six brand new TVs, CD/DVD player, high speed internet access, cable television, and a charcoal barbeque grill. We have gone to extraordinary lengths to think of everything anyone could possibly want for the perfect beach vacation. Your comfort is our most important priority.
Sunshine sits just steps from the beach boardwalk and has wonderful views of the Gulf from all the living areas. Morgantown also has two beautiful neighborhood swimming pools, exclusive to those in the community, and a brand new pair of tennis courts for those with exercise on their minds.
For golfers in the group, Sunshine is located next door to the world famous Kiva Dunes Golf Club, a winner of numerous Golf Digest awards. Just down the street is home to 27 perfectly manicured holes at the Peninsula Golf Club. Both resorts are truly world class.
Please come and join us for the sand, surf, and fun! The beaches are magnificent, the golf is spectacular, and the restaurants are terrific. There is truly an activity for every member of the family. Sunshine is a wonderful home and we would love to share it with you.
Sunshine is located at 6105 Sawgrass Drive, Gulf Shores, AL 36542. Prices include everything except Alabama state sales tax, a $45 damage waiver (gives you $1500 worth of accidental damage coverage during your stay), a small house cleaning fee of $75 and a linen charge ($25/bedroom and $10/bathroom) - which includes all your linens, bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels and even little soaps at all of the sinks. There is also a small amount of clothes detergent, dish liquid and dish washer soap. For your convenience, I can also offer optional trip insurance from AIG, a AAAAA rated insurance company (highly recommended!!!). Please let me know of your interest level in this worthwhile product. The beaches are the best in the world. Period. The finest white sand and the bluest turquoise waters await each and every guest. Need I say more?

Try your luck at Kiva Dunes, a perennial top 10 in the state of Alabama and ranked in Golf Digest's "places to play" for an unforgettable links experience on the Gulf of Mexico. If you have a more traditional American layout in mind, the Peninsula Golf Club, with its 27 manicured holes and GPS loaded carts is terrific.
Anyone say "fresh seafood?" You can't go wrong at any of our restaurants. Try "Bahama Bobs" for the fresh catch of the day. The lunch specials are to die for. Its hard not to enjoy a meal when the majestic waters of the Gulf can be seen from your table!

I started RelaxontheBeach in 2004 because I knew that the vacation rental/property management business in Gulf Shores needed a complete overhaul. I purchased my first beach house in the early 2000's and immediately listed it with one of the larger property management firms in town. While I was thrilled that the house rented as well as it did, I was not happy with the draconian commission structure, poor cleaning standards, and slipshod maintenance.
I began to advertise and manage my property on my own and I doubled rental revenue in the first 24 months of owning the property.
Neighbors took note. I received phone calls. I received emails. How in the world, they wondered, was I able to generate so much traffic? Every weekend there was a car in my driveway. "Simple" I said, "treat every customer like family."
The personal touch makes all the difference. Our potential guests are personally greeted by a knowledgeable representative. Our quality control director takes pride in the condition of all of our properties and ensures that our thorough cleanliness standards are met. I visited "Sunshine" 10-4-06 to 10-10-06 and had 8 guest come with me. We all loved it. It was a great experience for all of us. I also received a call from the owner to check on everything upon my arrival and a card thanking me for my business when I arrived home. It was a pleasure all the way around! I would definitely visit again. Thank You!

My family (including the dogs!) went down to SUNSHINE over the Christmas break and the stay was wonderful. Although not on the beach the walkway to the beach was feet away and we had easy access. The kitchen was huge and we really enjoyed the big dinner table where the family could enjoy dinners together. The bedrooms were laid out very nicely. I highly recommend the house!!!
Recommended for:Pet owners, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

I just left Sunshine this past weekend. This was my second year staying there. My only hesitation to tell you how wonderful it is, is that I do not want "no vacancy" when I plan for next year. :) It is a wonderful place to relax and it is equipped wonderfully. There is even a gas grill on site which is rare on other home rentals. Has multiple king beds, so you can sleep just like you do at home. It is great all around. Plus, the owners are very attentive even though it is managed by an agency. He has called both years I was there. Visited last year and sent a card both years! The Sunshine is a great choice.
