1000 sq. ft. pristine condo on the Cross Bayou leading to the gulf. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly here. The building is locked at all times for your security. Take the stairs or elevator to this first floor unit, elevated over ground floor assigned parking. Guest parking under the building and around the pool. Building security is around at any time day or night. Building maintenance person available from 8 - 12 daily and by telephone thereafter. The complex is impeccably clean; landscaping is perfection. It’s a fairly quite community. Completely furnished interior, this unit includes one queen bedroom with master shower stall bathroom and sliders to the screened lanai. Second bedroom has 2 twin beds; both bedrooms have full wall closets. 2nd bathroom has a tub/shower. All windows and sliders have blinds. Large Kitchen is fully applianced. Full sized Washer/Dryer. Televisions, VCR, DVD player, electric grill. This is a fantastic home away from home, you can't help but love.
Interior Description: Spacious kitchen is fully equipped including garbage disposal, New toaster oven, New coffee maker, coffee grinder, New cappuccino maker, and New major appliances. There's a blender, small toaster, popcorn maker, mixer, plenty of baking pans, all the pots and pans, dinnerware, and utensils you could need. Spices, foil, plastic wrap, baggies. You name it we've got it.
Full sized Lay-Z-Boy pull out bed sleeps 2 adults; Lay-Z-Boy love seat is two recliners. Large screen TV, VCR/DVD player. Local cable TV service included in addition to internet service. Sliders to the Lanai allow a fantastic breeze.
Enclosed side of the lanai is furnished with glass top table and chairs for 4 and towel rack for pool towels. Screened side of the lanai has additional 4 outside chairs, the cell phone reception is great. There are plenty of brand new towels and sheets.
Since this is our home it contains all the supplies you could possibly need, up to and including post-it notes! We hope you'll love your stay.
Why we love this place: The beautiful kidney shaped heated pool downstairs is surrounded by recliners/chairs/umbrella tables. There are pool toys in the pool house and bathrooms so you don't have to go back to your unit. Around the corner at the Clubhouse (on Seagull) is an even bigger heated pool along with a very large hot tub. The tennis courts are next to the parking lot, and the boat launch is available 24/7. There's a terrific meeting room applicable for a business meeting, wedding, birthday party, etc. Heather Cove is part of the Gulf Harbors Communities thereby allowing access to the impeccably groomed private beach at the end of Floramar Blvd.
Directions (try Google maps or mapquest): Heather Cove is located at 5567 Sea Forest Drive. Heading north on US 19, turn left on Marine Parkway, then right on Sea Forest to the Heather Cove Sign. Heading south on US 19 turn right on Cross Bayou, then left on Sea Forest.

We were staying for a family vacation to Disney. Not to far from the parks and a better way of spending the money to stay than a hotel. Fully equipped with all cooking and cleaning and bathing, literally just had to bring clothing which was fantastic since we had all three children with us. Right down to the pool area in the morning and shopping less than 2 minutes away, I was thrilled. There are also tennis courts and such just the next street over as well as a private beach. I was very happy to come into such a clean and well maintained place. The kids really felt comfortable and at ease with the space for them and a full pull out bed for a slumber party too!!!!! This is a terrific, 1000 sq ft pristine condo overlooking the boat slips on the bayou leading to the gulf. This completely furnished unit includes one queen bedroom with master shower stall bathroom and sliders to the screened lanai. Second bedroom has 2 twin beds; both bedrooms have full wall closets. There's a tub/shower in the 2nd bathroom. Full sized washer/dryer. Spacious kitchen is fully applianced including garbage disposal, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee maker, cappuccino maker, and icemaker in the full sized refrigerator. Living room includes 27-inch color TV and CD/DVD player. Full sized Laz-y-Boy pull out bed sleeps and extra two. The Laz-y-Boy loveseat has two recliners. Lanai is furnished with Table and chairs for 4, electric grill, and towel rack for pool towels. Fabulous heated pool on-site. Larger heated pool and hot tub at the off-site clubhouse. Picnic gazebo with outside grill available at the private beach on the Gulf of Mexico a short drive away. Just one mile west to Route 19 is every type of service you could need in New Port Richey. Jet ski rentals, charter boats, sailboats rentals all one mile away. Shop for anything within 1 mile. Nearby Clearwater has Live Theatre, nightlife, and museums. About the owner: I'm Dawn Tully and I live in Maine year round. It is surely a wonderful thing to be able to hop a plane in the afternoon and be in sunny Florida with my own bed to sleep in by night. I highly recommend it for stress relief
Why the Owner Chose New Port Richey:
When my daughter, who had lived in New Port Richey for several years, decided to have a baby, we decided we just had to be in Florida more often. Being a homeowner in the Northeast where weather requires constant 'fixing' of things, we were more interested in a condominium than a stand alone single family home. We found our unit in Heather Cove to be exactly the best choice for us. The property itself is beautifully maintained, the interior is bright and inviting, all the folks are friendly and welcoming. Just the right fit for us. Unfortunately we are not retired yet and have demanding jobs back here in Maine, so we cannot use the unit for most of the year, so we decided to rent it to those that could and help us offset the costs of ownership. We networked with family and friends to find a lovely young property manager and recently a maintenance man too - Magic Mike!
We believe you'll feel right at home here as we do every time we pop in. Just unpack your bag, put up the groceries and Whoosh-off to the pool. Everything you'll need to feel comfortable is in the unit right down to the sticky notes.

My entire extended family lives in New Port Richey and so did I when I was younger, so it's a wonderful opportunity to visit for a while without having to borrow someone's couch and 'mouch' off the relatives!
For travelers the best thing about renting someone's home is that it's like begin welcomed into a friends house - but the friend is away! It's a home, with all the comforts associated with a home. Comfy beds, clean linens, a full kitchen, privacy. And best of all is that it cost you less and you get more. You don't have to eat every meal in a restaurant, you don't have to spend ANY time in a laundromat, you don't have to be concerned with the integrity of the maids coming and going.
Seriously, whenever I travel I ALWAYS try to find a home rather than a hotel wherever I go. You can't beat it unless you're in love with Concierge service.
