  This house is very spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It also very close to Disney and many attractions/restaurants/shopping. Thank you Lou for making the booking extremely easy :)

  As always I am very leary when renting through VRBO, I have never had a bad experience, but you still end up concerned. With this one the owners were extremely responsive to my inquiries prior to booking, both via email and phone, this alone made me much more comfortable. When we arrived, we found a very spacious home, just as listed, after finding a short cut, I found it even closer to Animal Kingdom than I thought. This was a great experience, and look forward to staying here again.

  The house was as described. The owners were a pleasure to deal. House was about 10 minutes from Magic Kingdom parking in normal traffic.

  My parents brought our family to disney for vacation....The area is very nice. Calm, quiet and safe. The description online is 'technically' accurate. However, we arrived on Saturday and had to clean up trash from the wildlife digging in the 3 FULL trash cans in the driveway until Tuesday. On our 5th day, we still have a dirty pool (that had to be fixed because the extra money we spent to have the pool heated ... well, its useless if it isn't working). The a /c hasn't worked yet, by day 5. We are told to "just open the windows" and that they will replace the ac tomorrow (day 6). Yes there is an air hockey table... with only 3 legs and no puck. We have 5 kids under the age of 13 here with us. So with a VERY cold, dirty pool, no air hockey, and no a /c.... we arnt getting the relaxing vacation we had hoped for.

  Owner response: This is very disappointing. Disappointing that the first we hear of issues (other than AC) is in this public forum. We were not given an opportunity to address any of the other issues before they were aired here, in this public forum. We were first notified on 3/19 at 9 p.m. that there was an issue with the air conditioner. Within thirty minutes, we authorized the repairs. After diagnosis by an a/c repairman, our property manager clarified with us the necessary and desired repairs which we authorized right away. The air conditioner repairs were made this afternoon 3/20. My property manager this evening affirmed that he went to the home and the pool is not dirty, but that the finish is stained from gas heater. He said the water is clear and correctly balanced. The water level was a little low due to evaporation from a combination of the pool heater and warm Florida temperatures. The pool heater had been working fine up until this time according to the guest, and the issue today was resolved within 15 minutes of being called. The heater is working and heating the water to 87 degrees. We give all our guest our private numbers. We do this so that if there is ever an issue that is not being resolved that we can be reached. We make every effort to resolve any issues in a timely manner. Our property managers tell us that they have had good communication with the primary renter (father). Furthermore, she informs us that he stated issues were addressed in a satisfactory and timely manner.

  Our family really enjoyed our recent stay at the house. Its in a great neighborhood and the owners were wonderful to deal with. We would definately rent this house again. I has plenty of space for our family, a nice pool, and well it's an older home it is in good repair. We would definately recommend this property to to family or friends. It is only minutes from Disney, Sea World, and Gatorland. The location is central if you want to plan a day at the ocean or the gulf with only about and hours drive either way. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and opportunities for shopping within a 5 minute drive.

  We enjoyed our stay very much! Lou and Maria are wonderful owners and they even arrange to have a suprise gallon of milk in the fridge for our arrival. We will definately stay again!!!

  Overall, my family stay was a great experience. The home decor was great. The location was wonderful, I mean we lucked up on this home. I bragged about the home and how wonderful the owners were to us.

  Your house is OK however few of the items were of concerns e.g. too many insects, cockroaches, frogs etc. Swimming pool was also dirty. There should be some effective pest control in place. Light in the kitchen went out of order. Bed in the master bedroom was very squeaky and toilet seat cover was broken. There wasn't enough garbage bags. There was no followup phone call from the manager or anyone checking how things were going, would have definitely appreciated.

  Stayed the month of Feb 2011. This was our first time renting a home. Everything was fabulous. Our dog was welcome. Renting again in 2012

Additional information about rental rates

Cleaning fee refunded for a stay of seven nights or more. You have the option of either a refundable $300 damage deposit or a $65 damage waiver which is payable when the rental payment is due. Just let us know your preference. We also allow dogs to accompany you for a $50 pet fee. Pool heating, if desired, is available for $25 per night. All of these options are invoiced separately.
