We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It has all essentials beyond and above. It was great not to worry about things such as washing detergent etc. We loved the garden area and veranda and even got to use the outdoor grill - cottage even has the BBQ tools. The village is really close, there is great local bakery and several tavernas. The gyros that we tried there, we the best out all that we tried during our trip. Grocery store is 5 minute drive and has a nice selection. The owners are very nice and accomodating.

Our family (a group of 7 including 2 small children) have just returned from a holiday staying at this beautiful cottage. The location in close proximity to the beach is the biggest plus of this property. It also has a large garden/relaxing area with table and chairs and a bbq. It also has a verrandah area for relaxing in the evening. The property is well equipped with linen, towles, cutlery, crockery, washing machine, dishwasher and much much more. The property is situated within walking distance of locals shops and restaurants. The train station is a 5 minute taxi ride to and from the property and is easily accessible from Athens. Overall we loved our stay here and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone that just wants a quiet retreat from their hectic lifestyle.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the cottage. We were pleasantly surprised by the park and beach proximity as well as the ease to catching the train into Athens. The cottage was clean and well equiped for our family and we so enjoyed the privacy of the garden/yard. We also enjoyed the quaintness of the village. This is definitely a place we would come back to the next time we take the family to Athens.

just wanted to say that we had a totally brilliant time at the cottage. It was ideally located to the town, beach, Athens and surrounding area and at the same time, was so quiet for sleeping. The garden with the citrus fruits was an added bonus and our daughter loved the fresh oranges on Christmas day. The restaurant across the road was superb and well recommended and our big thanks go to Natalie who met us and helped us a great deal. Overall, many thanks, a well recommended cottage for families and a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Best regards, Ed, Hana & Nathalie The Rowe Family

This was our second visit to the cottage - we were there previously two years ago. We were very happy with the improvements that had been made to the cottage since our earlier visit - these, together with the very much upgraded beach facilities made our stay most enjoyable. And, although not fully utilised, the ease of travel to many parts of Greece make this an excellent location to combine both a relaxed beach vacation together with one where you can explore history. The charm of the village is a further added plus - the people are so friendly and helpful which makes everything that much more pleasant. It was another holiday to remember.

Review submitted by Paul from Waarder (Submitted: 13/08/2007 ) Review for: Family Beach Cottage near Athens (18027) "We had a great time in this luxurious and well equipped house for a family with children such as ours (3 small children). The location is excellent towards the pebble beach and the great beach restaurant on it. The location is great for exploring the region, Peloponessos and Athens. I could only imagine that the route description to the house is improved since it is hard to find! The location close to the beach and road makes it noisy, especially in the weekends. As I said, i would certainly recommend it." Value: Excellent , Met expectations: Exceeded them , Recommend: Definitely , Overall: Excellent

We really enjoyed staying at your house and appreciated that there were all the cleaning supplies and some regularly used food items already available to use. It was very nice to have a washer available so we didn't have to pack so many clothes. It was also nice that Natalie was there to meet us and give us some pointers and pick up some groceries for us. Stavros was excellent and we recommended him to our travel agent. Thank you again for the stay at your house. The Forsyths, Canada

My husband and I and our 19 yr. old daughter and 22 year old son stayed at this delightful cottage from Dec. 30,2006 to Jan. 6, 2007. My son turned 23 on Jan.3. What a thrill to be in ancient Corinth that birthday. The cottage was so comfortable and modern with a great kitchen to work in and nice dishwasher, stove and refrig. for food preparation so we didn't have to eat out all the time. When we arrived Despina's neice Natalie and her husband and son met us. They had brought some buns, butter , beer , coke and a New Years Traditional Cake with a gold coin inside. We tried to eat out on New years Eve but they were all private parties so we stayed home and had fun with our own dinner and then at midnight cut the cake to see who got the piece with the good luck coin. We enjoyed the fresh grapefruit, lemons and mini oranges growing in the yard. WE even used the grill outside one night and had a fire in the inside fireplace one night as well. It was too chilly to use the front porch for much more than hanging clean clothes out to dry. This cottage was so convenient with our rental car to drive to so many things. Despina gave us the name of a taxi driver who took us to Athens one day. It was a great way to get around. We just loved everything about our Greece vacation and the cottage was so comfortable with each child having their own room. If any future guests have any questions I would gladly answer them if I can. We want to come back again sometime. Thank you, Natalie, for all your help and answers to our many questions. And ,Despina, thank you for all your help. I hope some day we might get to meet. If you or any of your relatives want to come to So. Dakota I will give you a Black Hills tour with our tour company.

Review submitted by Julian from Antwerp, Belgium (Submitted: 13/09/2006 ) Review for: Family Beach Cottage near Athens (18027) "Very well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, hob, huge fridge, microwave, airco, plenty of crokery, cutlery, pots, pans etc) Fully fenced in garden and nice terrace. Great location for trips to Athens, Peloponnese. 1 hour from airport. Pebble beach, sea, beach cafe, small kids playground 100m/2 minutes walk. Sea and beach very clean... no dogs. Reasonably priced restaurants/cafes/shops within walking distance. It is in an area where Greeks come for holidays and days out. Few 'foreign' tourists and no British/Irish pubs. We had a great time here with our 5 year old daughter and would thoroughly recommend it."

Despina is a wonderful homeowner. She went out of her way to arrange pickup by taxi for my son who was unable to fly with us since we were using frequent flyer miles, but the week before the airline was able to get us all on the same flight. Despina can answer all your questions that you have and help you in anyway she can. She also had a nice assortment of drinks in the refrigerator. This was very nice after traveling on the plane and then driving to the cottage. My husband appreciated the cold beer! Our stay at the cottage was very relaxing. We had been in Italy twelve days before arriving in Athens. So staying in a layback, family oriented city of St. Theodore was what was needed. We would get up in the morning and go to visit one of the many sites to see. The first day we went to the Acropolis on August 15, suggested by Despina. This was a holy day and we were able to get our admission free. Being a holiday the city of Athens was quite. We drove our car into the city without any problems. When we got back to the cottage we ate a late lunch, had fresh squeezed lemonade and then we went swimming in the sea. My son picked the lemons from the yard and he made the lemonade. I thought this was pretty good for a 23-year-old college student. This was our normal daily routine. Afternoons got very hot in August, so we just relaxed. The cottage accommodated our family of 5 adults. The kitchen has modern appliances. I did cook for my family daily and found the kitchen to be very user friendly. Air conditioning works great. Each room has its own unit. Having a washing machine came in very handy. The clothes dry very quickly outside. Despina also got a calling card for my young men to call on their girl friends and check the emails. We also had a pleasant visit from Despina. I wanted to meet her and she came down from her mountain home to see us. For the value and experience I recommend staying at the Agii Theororii cottage.Just last night my husband said he missed his fresh squeezed lemonade. We did discuss our next trip to Athens and would like to stay at Despina’s other home she rents. Just a lovely GREAT VACATION!!!

Spotlessly clean and nicely decorated house with well-equipped kitchen. All the basic bits and pieces that are usually missing in holiday homes are provided here: soap, toilet paper, washing-up liquid, shampoo, salt, sugar, cooking oil, etc. Very friendly and helpful owners, who speak good English. Convenient for many historical sites and for day trips to Athens. Close to local shops and beach. Recommended!
