My husband and I spent the glorious month of Oct in "Aprils little piece of heaven" Her home is so lovely and warm and the brook that babbles outside your bedroom is the perfect way to fall asleep. We had such a wonderful time. We used the pool and the tennis courts and even managed to work out . It is so easy to get to Blowing rock restaurants as well as all the towns in the area in a few minutes. We recommend this wonderful home for anyone wanting a place that has beautiful views, lovely decor and all the ammenities. We will be back next Oct Lynn amd Charles

Wonderful Respite from Florida's Summer Heat!

My husband and I just visited Yonahlossee this past August and enjoyed life between two beautiful mountain towns, an exceptional climate and wonderful trails to explore. Icing on the cake was the perfectly appointed cottage that we enjoyed in Yonahlossee. The cottage was clean and comfortable, attractively decorated, and included all the amenities that you would want to make a vacation memorable. The owner was extremely helpful in orienting us to the area. We appreciate her sharing her home with us.

We rented this property for a month and felt like it was a little piece of heaven. The property was in lovely condition, perfectly represented and working with the owner could not have been easier. It was so convenient to have linens provided and a cleaning service if we wanted to hire. Perfect location - 10 minutes from Blowing Rock and 15 minutes from Boone but you feel that you are in the middle of the woods. Tennis is great and members of the club are so welcoming. The Gamekeeper is a fabulous restaurant and fun bar for drinks. We loved the hiking at the Cone Manor and Price Park. Delightful trips to Valle Crucis, Linville, crossnore. So many free activities - art in the park in Blowing Rock, friday night music in the park in Valle Crucis. Gourmet dinner at Gideons Ridge. Westglow Spa 15 mins away. Crestwood Inn 2 mins away with beautiful sunset views of grandfather for cocktails. You cannot go wrong with this property - it can be romantic, cozy or warm for a family. Enjoy!

This cottage has it all! Very well-appointed home in great location. Very close to Crestwood, Westglow Resort and Spa, and downtown Blowing Rock shopping & dining. Enjoyed relaxing on the private back deck to the sounds of the rushing creek. We felt we were staying in a lovely private home rather than a "rental". Nice art and personal photos & the kitchen had everything. The remote gas logs added that warmth needed for the evening glass of wine by the fire. The owner was completely accommodating and available for questions if needed. Much preferred to a rental company which sometimes seems to only care about your check rather than the service & amenities. You will not be dissapointed.

We have visited Blowing Rock numerous occasions, and we have stayed at Yonalossee Resort several times. This fall for the first time we chose this home. Finding this house "by owner" located in Yonalossee Resort was a Godsend. It was even nicer than advertised, well decorated and immaculate. Owner went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect, and we plan to go back as soon as we can. I would recommend this property to anyone! Also would recommend the restaurant across from Yonalossee - The Game Keeper has great atmosphere and even better food.

Hi my name is Wyatt and I am 8 years old. I love to go to the mountains because I like the indoor pool and the tennis courts. I like to go on walks around Bass Lake in the morning. My favorite thing to do is to go biking in the mountians and on hikes. I like the house because it is near a lot of things and you can do a lot of stuff without driving far. I bet if you came you would have a lot of fun!

We've enjoyed 3 different summer vacations at your condo. It is very comfortable & well decorated. Our children enjoy the freedom to roam Yonahlossee, and particularly like exploring the running creek and wooden bridge. They also think it is neat that the temperature in the summer can get so low that we actually use the fireplace! We like the location, with quick access to Blowing Rock, Boone, Grandfather Mountain, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Chipmunks that hang out across the lane are also very cool! It is a great family getaway.

What a perfect retreat in beautiful Yonahlossee. With little ones you can't ask for more than this lovely spot in the beautiful mountains with a little help from indoor tennis and a heated pool. You can't ask for more....we'll be back! The ideal package for the whole family, whether highly active (i.e., our family) or seeking more relaxation.

I just wanted to tell you how lovely your condo is and how we had a very nice time in the mountains. I sat outside every morning and evening and cherished the waterfall sounds. I saw a doe one evening by the water. Your house is very comfortable! The kids enjoyed the ammenities as well as we did. The house cleaner did a very thorough job prior to our arrival and there were plenty of linens. Thank you again!

Our family had a wonderful, relaxing week at the lovely Brookstone Cottage. The pleasures of swimming, fishing, touring and sightseeing provided something for the whole family to enjoy. A short walk to the nearby pond allowed the 3 young boys in the family lots of freedom to fish and explore. The amenities and accomodations are excellant. I am anxious to return in the fall to catch the breathtaking views of the mountains and enjoy the nearby delightful resturants.

Peaceful mountain air; soothing babbling brook - this beautiful and incredibly comfortable mountain lodge has all the amenities that made our vacation perfect. This is a great place to relax and get away from the traffic, noise and 'hustle and bustle' of everything! THANKS for the wonderful stay!
