Truckee is close by with wonderful restaurants and unique shopping.

We picked Truckee for the wide range of activities offered year round. The skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, sledding and just playing in the snow during the winter. With the boating, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, and swiming in the summer. We were surprising pleased with the shopping, resturants, concerts and the community spirt of the residents of Truckee. We have to say that Truckee is our second home!
