We just spent a lovely week at Amazing Sunset. The home is beautifully decorated and yet very cozy. The house is aptly named -- the sunset views are truly amazing! Everything was clean, and the kitchen has been nicely remodeled since the last time we stayed here. Loved the stylish white cabinets and granite countertops. Our puppy dog especially enjoyed the floor to ceiling windows in the living room from which she could monitor the whole neighborhood. Regarding restaurants, we highly recommend Tortuga Lie in Nag's Head - it's hard not to eat every meal there. On a local recommendation, we also got takeout at Seaside Gourmet (around milepost 4 on the bypass road) and it was excellent. Anyway, a most enjoyable week at a very reasonable price!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We seek the Outer Banks every summer, and always try to find a nice home within our budget. This home fulfilled all our wants and needs. All listing descriptions were accurate, and most of the photos accurately reflect rental's appearance. One surprise was a newly remodeled kitchen that was fantastic! The home also had new decking. This is a very nice, clean home. It was everything we had hoped for and more! The owner's were very friendly and helpful, as well as the realty company employees. I would recommend this property to friends and relatives. This home does have amazing sunset views! We enjoyed the hot tub, and the pool in the evenings. We would recommend eating at Sunset Grill and Raw Bar. It is usually very crowded, but worth any wait you may have. Another restaurant we happened upon was Mako Mike's. It is located in Kitty Hawk, and is excellent! We dined at Awful Arthur's our last night there and had to wait an hour to be seated. The wait was well worth it, because the seafood was fresh and delicious. I would recommend their crab-cake sandwich and crab legs. Visiting Duck Donuts is a must. They have unique delicious donuts, and the coffee is great! We are very satisfied with our stay at Amazing Sunset! We would rent this home again.
