Our Wildlife retreat is located in the Rundle Estates complex, less than a 10 minute walk to downtown Canmore. This ideal location neighbors the west banks of the Bow River, providing miles of walking/running trails conveniently located across the street. The back yard area has beautiful views of Rundle Mountain with a large green space area and toddler playground. In the winter, the green space is turned into a skating rink for hours of hockey or pleasure skating right out your back door. There are two bedrooms with brand new pillow top king beds, each offering its own bath en-suite. The third bedroom is a great kids/adult bunkroom (four beds) all with new mattresses. The 4th bedroom has two new double futons accompanied by another full bath en-suite and offers a great view of the Three Sisters Mountains.
The numerous restaurants, shops, and museums in downtown Canmore, are LESS THAN a ten minute WALK. The renowned Canmore Nordic Center is a five minute drive and provides exceptional cross country skiing in the winter or miles of challenging mountain bike trails in the summer. Canmore also offers some of the best hiking, rock and ice climbing not to mention, three outstanding mountain golf courses (Stewart Creek, SilverTip, and Canmore Golf Course) with breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains. The Canmore Recreation Center is also a five minute drive and offers a workout/weight room facility, a great indoor pool and hot tub for kids of all ages including adults.
