Accommodations:  Cottage, 4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 8)

Comfortable, clean, rustic cottage situated on a slope under a canopy of mature hardwood trees overlooking the south end of Lake Wallenpaupack. This property is maintained and enjoyed by the owner.

Main house built in the 1960's, second floor added in the early 1990's. Rented sparingly during the forty-four years of one family ownership.

Interior walls are all tongue and groove knotty pine, natural fieldstone wood burning fireplace, electric baseboard heat, ceiling fans in each room, outdoor picnic area with eight foot picnic table and view of lake, adjacent campfire ring, covered porch also with enjoyable lake view. Exterior hemlock-sided with natural fieldstone foundation, professionally refinished fall 2005.

Approximate 30 minute drive to Sno Mountain or Camelback Ski Areas. Very nice winter views of lake!

Walk about 200' from the front door to the edge of the lake and the convenient boat slip in protected, no wake water. Launch your boat for free at the convenient launch located next to the boat slip. Walk to pond or lake fishing, swimming at community beach(lifeguarded), and a restaurant.

A short drive to swimming in beautiful outdoor heated community pool with adjoining kiddie pool(lifeguarded), playground and tennis courts. All community amenities are included in the rental price.


Lake Wallenpaupack is one of Pennsylvania's largest lakes, 13 miles long with 52 miles of shoreline. The lake also features four islands allowing added recreational opportunities, and a several mile no-wake zone opposite the cottage that is ideal for canoeing or kayaking. Boats are available for rent on the lake.

Two bedrooms on the first floor with a queen in one and full-sized bed in the other. Two bedrooms on the second floor with two singles and a set of bunks in one and a queen in the other. May accommodate up to ten with mixture of adults and children.

Families or mature adults. 2 night rental minimum. Check-out-11:00 a.m. Check-in-2:00 p.m. Security deposit required.

  • We had a wonderful week in your lovely lake house!! Lots of room for relaxing, big kitchen, comfy bedrooms, great location & we really enjoyed the front patio/porch!! The boat slip made boating & hanging out on the boat very convenient. We really felt right at home....& what a gorgeous lake!!

  • This cottage was great for 2 families. The new addition upstairs is very lovely, but blends in with the older traditional cabin style. Nice size kitchen, well stocked. Very convenient to boat dock.

  • We rented a week in the begining of August. The lake was beautiful. Had the whole family and we rented a pontoon boat. The cottage is very accomadating. Plenty of room. The fire pit made for pleasent evenings.

  • We had a family get together in March--got snowed in with a lovely fireplace and crackling logs aplenty! Would be excellent in summer time, too. Right next to Lake Wallenpaupack! Clean, homey, more like a family home site than a rentable cabin.

  • We had a family gathering at this house over the Holidays and we had a wonderful time. The house is in great condition, is clean, and the owner is extremely helpful and pleasant. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat. I would love to come back in the summer because there's a great lake view from the front porch.

  • A wonderful house with plenty of rooms and space. Having a boat slip within a short walk of the front door is a great bonus for the pleasure boater or hard core fisherman. Lots of recreational areas and activities for the family that one week isn't nearly a long enough vacation.

  • This property is one of the best locations at Indian Rocks. It's just a short walk to the boat launch, beach and fishing pond. The house is quaint, roomy and super clean. It was one of the most relaxing vacations I've had in years.
