Lovely cabin, great location, friendly owner and great view of the lake! Sitting on the front porch was so relaxing! Chaise lounges on the side were another great relaxation spot, as was the fire pit for our nightly marshmallow roastings. Highly recommend it.

WOW!!! What a great mountain home! Great location, view of the lake, and close to the fishing pond (the kids caught so many sunnies I couldn't keep up w/ them). The house was clean, comfortable and the description is accurate. We enjoyed the front patio, cooking out every night, and smoores with the fire pit! The owner was great and very nice to deal with. You will be able to tell the pride the family takes in their home. We cannot wait to rent next year!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in this cottage the last week of June, 2011. The cottage is clean, comfortable and ideally located. The front porch and picnic area afford nice views of the water and boats. The ramp and docks are directly across the street. We spent every day on the water in my ski boat and both of my sons learned to kneeboard. For a boating vacation this was very convenient. The owner was helpful and friendly.

Just back from a great weekend get a way with some friends. This house is very clean, has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing weekend. Very nice cozy cabin feel. Great views of the lake from all around the house. Cross Country skiing was excellent as was ice fishing! Would definitely recommend this house for a winter weekend get a way. Looking forward to returning this summer to enjoy all that Lake Wallenpaupack has to offer. Owner was very easy to deal with!

I had recently rented this house for our yearly New Years getaway. It was FANTASTIC! The house has everything you need to get through your stay and MORE. The views are beautiful, the house is spacious, comfortable, and the flat screen in the living room was a great added bonus. It truly feels like a cozy mountain cabin not just a house in the woods. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend choosing it. You will be very pleasantly surprised!

I recently had the pleasure to spend a weekend at this lovely cottage. As a former Indian Rocks resident, the experience brought back a lot of fond memories for me. There is a good view of the lake from the property. The development is great, the house was clean and comfortable and I would not hesitate to visit again.

House was a perfect setting for a long weekend for my group of friends to meet up and have a great time. The place was spotless and had all the amenities needed. We especially enjoyed cooking on the grill and using the tv and DVD in the cozy living room. (It rained a lot while we were there.) Beds were comfortable and table in kitchen was big enough for group dinners as well as playing games. Did I mentioned it rained a lot while we were there? ;o) And though we spent a lot of time inside, we did not feel cramped and there were enough books, games, magazines and movies that we never had a chance to go stir crazy. Owner was extremely accommodating and made the entire renting process easy. Thanks so much!

Owner response:Qraig, I was glad to share my family cottage with your group. We both have fond memories of the Lake, and I was glad that you chose our cottage to help rekindle memories from your youth. Wish the weather would have been more cooperative! You made the rental process wonderful for me, too, all the way to the end, by leaving the place in exceptional condition. Thanks for everything! We had a wonderful week at the lake. The owner is very helpful and accommodating. Easy renting process. The house is very clean and has plenty of room. Our family loved the grill, fire ring and picnic table. We ate outside the entire week. Convenient boat slip. We also used the pool and tennis courts, which is also a plus. We had a great week in this home.

We rented this lakehouse cabin for a week and everything was wonderful. The owner was very helpful and it was very clean and well-maintained. The cabin has 4 very comfortable bedrooms and the kitchen has all the amenities you would need. It was great to have a washer/dryer, especially when you come home with wet towels. The boat slip was very convenient. The only drawback is if you have small children, because it is situated on a steep hill with no fencing. I would recommend renting this cabin very much, we had a relaxing week on the lake.

My family and I had a wonderful time in this cottage by the lake. There was plenty of room for everyone and it was very clean and well maintained. The community pool was nice and there is a great zoo 3 miles away that I would recommend to anyone staying in the area (Claws 'N' Paws Animal Park). The homeowner provided quick responses to all our questions. Overall, it was a perfect retreat for our family. My 8 year old daughter said it was her best vacation. The only complaint I have, and it has nothing to do with the house, only the area, is that the cell phone reception was not good. We had 3 different phone service providers, and none of them worked well at the house, but there was internet service so that kept us connected.

We get together twice a year with a bunch of fishing buddies and enjoyed the cottage very much. Great bedrooms, clean kitchen, nice front porch and the rear fire pit was most enjoyable after many hours of fishing on the lake . I would recommend this cottage for a great fishing weekend as you are only 200 feet to the boat launch.

This cottage was great for 2 families. The new addition upstairs is very lovely, but blends in with the older traditional cabin style. Nice size kitchen, well stocked. Very convenient to boat dock.

We had a family get together in March--got snowed in with a lovely fireplace and crackling logs aplenty! Would be excellent in summer time, too. Right next to Lake Wallenpaupack! Clean, homey, more like a family home site than a rentable cabin.

We had a family gathering at this house over the Holidays and we had a wonderful time. The house is in great condition, is clean, and the owner is extremely helpful and pleasant. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat. I would love to come back in the summer because there's a great lake view from the front porch.

A wonderful house with plenty of rooms and space. Having a boat slip within a short walk of the front door is a great bonus for the pleasure boater or hard core fisherman. Lots of recreational areas and activities for the family that one week isn't nearly a long enough vacation.

This property is one of the best locations at Indian Rocks. It's just a short walk to the boat launch, beach and fishing pond. The house is quaint, roomy and super clean. It was one of the most relaxing vacations I've had in years.
