Located on a year round accessible street within the City of Brian Head, Shenandoah is located just a short walk from the Ski/Snowboard Shuttles right at the corner of our street and over two short blocks. We are mere moments from all of Brian Head's famous slopes and Snowmobile scenic trails.
From our full-width front deck, enjoy 200+ degrees and over 50+ miles of views. In the evening on a clear night, you can see millions of stars and many constellations. It feels like a planetarium just looking up.
Shenandoah is a private cabin on 3/4 acre with 3 levels, and +/- 3500 square feet of expansive living space. It's perfectly configured for family reunions, (it easily accomodates 2 families), acting troupes destined for the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City, or anyone seeking spacious, well-appointed accommodations with all the comforts of home...perhaps even more comforts than home.
The main level of the cabin features a Great Room with commanding 20 foot cedar ceilings and a massive corner stone & cedar wood-burning fireplace. This room features all new flooring, new Leather furniture and hand-carved rockers, plus a new entertainment system.
The oversized kitchen and dining area are on this level as well. You'll feel right at home, everything is there for your use.
There are two (15'X14') Master bedrooms, each with their own bath on this level. One features a king size bed, the other a Temperpedic queen bed. There is a 3rd bath on this level complete with shower.
In the third level of this loft home are another two (14'X12')bedrooms;queen beds in each bedroom, and both bedrooms with rear balcony lookouts through french doors. This level also includes a 3/4 bath as well, Color TV, daybed 2 sleeper/sofas, and a small, yet quaint, library area. This level of the Loft also features a 4'X8' picture window with incredible hillside views, plus a gallery view of the Great Room below.
Downstairs from the main level you will find a jacuzzi room, a mud room for convenient storage of snowboards and skiis, and a large room (about 20'X12') suitable for sleeping bags with heaters.
The newly natural landscaped backyard accomidates families when there is no snow. It is cleared with benches for a peacful place to lay and relax.
Nearby National parks abound Brian Head Resort...literally. Visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Dixie National Forrest, Great Basin, and Escalante-Grand Staircase National parks, not to mention Lake Powell. All are within reasonable driving distances.
Cedar Breaks National Monument adjoins Brian Head two miles away, just go down our street and turn right at the corner. There's year round excitement at Brian Head. Mountain Biking trails are rated in the top 50 trails on earth. The Snowmobile trails are considered some of the finest in all the state...just ask any enthusiast you know that's visited here.
All of this makes Brian Head the ideal 'base-camp' for exploring all of the entire So. Utah experience year round...and there's so much to see! Also, only thirty minutes away is the Tony award-winning Shakespeare festival throughout each summer in Cedar City, as well as their summer games.
