Welcome to "Villa Mirage", a custom built desert oasis in Rancho Mirage, California. This property has become a favorite for the luxury traveler who wants all the amenities. This property is a one-of-a-kind showplace. From the moment you walk in the front entry, you will know you have found a masterpiece of quality, architectural design, & casual desert comfort.

The main residence is a stunning entertainment home oriented around a beautiful, completely private pool & spa with views of the mountains & valley. The home features travertine flooring throughout with carpet insets in the living room & bedrooms.

The luxurious master suite includes a king size bed with custom made bedding & matching silk draperies, a wide screen LCD TV, beautiful art, a sumptuous reading chair & a gorgeous travertine bathroom with vaulted ceilings, a walk-through shower to a private atrium, a deep soaking tub, a bidet, a toilet room, custom cabinetry, slab granite counters, double sinks, a make-up vanity, & a walk-in closet with built-in organizers & drawers.

The main living & entertaining area was designed as a "great room" with glass walls that slide away to make the house open to the pool, garden & valley view. It includes a living room with a fireplace, a 50-inch plasma TV, built-in surround sound system, specialty art lighting, & designer furnishings. The great room also includes a large dining room with a round table, soaring ceilings, & a fabulous kitchen.

The gourmet kitchen was custom built with medium cherry wood cabinetry, Brazilian slab granite counters & 14-foot ceilings with clerestory windows. The center island is 26 feet long & includes a breakfast bar, two ultra-quiet Bosch dishwashers, a double sink, a trash compactor, & a wine refrigerator. The other side of the kitchen includes an additional 23 feet of cabinetry & features all stainless steel appliances.

They include a built-in double oven with convection, a GE Monogram 36" full refrigerator next to a GE Monogram 36" full freezer, a 5 burner gas cook top, a microwave oven, a flat panel LCD TV, & slab granite counters & back splashes.

At the end of the kitchen there is a wet bar with icemaker, a sink, barware display cabinetry & slab granite counters.

The office with a separate outside gated entry through a private atrium, includes a built-in desk & business center, a high speed computer with a 23 inch flat panel wide-screen monitor, windows XP, Microsoft Office software, a color printer, a fax, a copy machine & a high-speed cable modem internet connection.

At the opposite end of the pool is a custom cabana lounging area with plush cushions & pillows for shady afternoon naps or overnight sleeping. The cabana also includes a 50" TV so guests can relax in the pool or lay on the pool floats and watch TV.

The garden includes specimen desert landscaping, custom outdoor lighting, music, an outdoor shower & fantastic up-close mountain views.

There is also a 2 car garage with direct access into the home.

The entire property is walled & gated for privacy & security in addition to being located inside a gated community.
