Ocean View From Porch - Fripp Island Ocean Front Home - Fripp Island Oceanfront Home Beautiful home located RIGHT ON THE OCEAN... Private Beach Access! This home is the ideal retreat for two families. Accomodations include two master bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. Both bedrooms have private access to decks overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. There is a third bedroom upstairs with one queen bed and one twin bed - perfect for the kids. A crib is located in one of the master bedroom closets if you need to put it up. Recent remodeling provides an enclosed stairway to the downstairs studio bedroom with a queen and twin bed plus a bath. It's great for the older kids or a couple looking for some privacy. You'll love the spectacular ocean front view from the great room, dining room and master bedrooms. So, grab your favorite book and adjourn to the rocking chairs on the screened porch and Fripp out! From here you can watch and listen to the ocean waves crashing against the beach. Fripp Island is 3 1/2 miles long ensuring that all amenities are close. Paved biycle, skating or jogging trails traverse the island. Wildlife is abundant. Deer, racoons, herons, egrets, ospreys and alligators are common sights. Loggerhead turtles lay many nests on Fripp each year. Nature centers on Fripp and nearby Hunting Island provide hours of enjoyable activities on the beaches, in the forests or marshes. Once you arrive, park the car and rent a golf cart for island transportation. There are two golf courses located on Fripp. Ocean Creek Golf Course was designed by 1997 PGA Champion Davis Love, III (par 71, 6629 yards) and has won honors from Golf Magazine and The Golfer. Ocean Point Golf Links was designed by George W. Cobb (par71, 6556 yards) and is a links-style course where the land meets the sea. South Carolina National Golf Club is on nearby Cat Island and can also be accessed by our guests. There is Camp Fripp for the kids to get away from their parents for a couple of hours during the day and to take in other activities, meet other kids and give mom and dad a chance to relax. Hollywood had discovered Fripp Island to be fascinating as well. The Ocean Creek and Tidal Marsh areas of Fripp were used as film sets for both Forest Gump and Disney's The Jungle Book!
