Upon leaving the Daniel-Oduber Liberia International Airport, turn right onto Route 21. Playas del Coco is about 25 minutes away. Watch for the white and black road sign for Playas del Coco—also for Playas Hermosa and Panama—for a right turn on Route 151. On your left, is a TOTAL Gas station. After 14 kms, is the village of Coco. Before the beach, take the first road on your right, called La Chorrera. You will see the bar WOODY'S and the wooden sign of the restaurant LA DOLCE VITA. Within less than 1 km, on the right, a large rusty anchor says: *BIENVENIDA a URBANIZACION LAS PALMAS*. Turn right there. BEWARE of the WIDE yellow bump on the pavement! Keep to the right. The second entrance on your right will take you to Flamenco Rosa B. No. 16 is at the back of the pool. WELCOME HOME!

Many bars as well. SODA places offer you typical Costarican cuisine at very good prices. The boutiques and shops on Main street present large choices of arts and crafts. Some *must see* :Volcano Arenal and its laguna. Monteverde—check the weather before. Other volcanoes: el Rincon de la Vieja, Tenorio, Miravalles, Poas, etc. Costa Rica is really *the green country* with its many National Parks, lush vegetation, species of birds and monkeys. Driving is easy, except on some very rough roads! Good inexpensive public transportation.The *Ticos* and *Ticas* are well educated and nice. Many speak English. Hundreds of beautiful dark-or-gold sand beaches along the Pacific: Hermosa, Panama, Grande,Tamarindo, Conchal, Avellanas, Flamingo, Samara,etc.
