Puesta Del Sol, located in Rancho Leonero on the Sea of Cortez side of Baja California Sur was recently built in old Mexican hacienda-style. This home has almost 4000 square feet of interior living space. It is the only home in the area constructed entirely from straw bales, which contribute greatly to its rustic but elegant atmosphere. The five large master suites are situated around an interior courtyard and the great room with its 18 foot ceilings includes two seating areas and a ten foot long dining table which will easily accommodate your family reunion, corporate meeting, or group of friends.
Many one-of-a-kind artistic touches are built into the home and the many niches contain an extensive collection of art. Seating for twelve in the dining room, and adjacent wet bar, make an ideal site for entertaining. The large gourmet kitchen includes artistic touches as well as SubZero and Viking stainless steel appliances. Three lower level bedroom suites are furnished with queen-size beds. Two upper rooms are furnished for children and each contain double bunkbeds. These two rooms can each sleep up to six people. Lower bunk beds are double and can accommodate adults.
The large property is lushly landscaped and includes a hot tub, fountain and large patio ready for outdoor entertaining or relaxing after a day of fishing or other activities and enjoying a nice view of flat top mountain. From the upper deck views of the sea, the desert, and the Laguna mountains are magnificent, but most spectacular at sunset.
The Sea of Cortez lists incredible snorkeling, fishing, and kayaking among its many attractions. Rancho Leonero is well known for its beautiful, unspoiled sandy beaches as well as its from-shore fishing opportunities. Hotel Rancho Leonero offers an easy option for dining out or having a drink. Approximately five miles away in Los Barriles you can take care of your grocery needs or enjoy one of their many taco stands or fine restaurants or peruse several nice gift shops.
This beautiful home located in a "piece of paradise" is furnished and equipped to handle a large group in style. It can be the site of an unforgettable family vacation.
