We spent our vacation on Barbados in April and early May and had really great time. The villa is a very cosy place and seems perfect for a family holiday. We had everything we needed for having an ideal vacation including a private swimming pool and a garden. I would advise this house for enjoying calm and attractive environment without any interference from the neighbours. The sandy beach is within a three minute walking distance from the villa and one of the major factors we enjoyed during our vacation was a pleasant solitude which seemed so unusual after our busy life in a huge megapolis. All in all, I would insistently recommend this wonderful place for spending a vacation there.

We had an exellent stay there. The house was exactly as described. We occupied the guest pool house- 2 adults plus a four year old. The pool house was nice but not as nice as the main house(as expected), although the bathroom was excellent-spacious and bright. We did most of our living in the main house and used the pool house for seeping. Our friends occupied the villa- 2 adults and 2 kids. The beach was just across the street from the house and 3 minutes up the road there was another beach near a resort that had beach chairs, water sports, ect. We loved every minute there, found lots to do and see and we felt very safe everyehere we went. Highly revcommended.

My family was fortunate enough to vacation in Barbados this past winter and we spent our 15 days at the beautiful Seaford Villa in Fitts Village, St. James. The house is just as shown in the pictures provided on their website. Clean, spacious, with a large front yard and blooming frangipani and fragrant flowers all around. This house had all the amenities one could ask for when looking for a home away from home. The kitchen was fantastic to cook in, had all the items we required for our daily meal preparation and was the perfect size for hosting our group of 8. Having a gas grill in the backyard allowed us to enjoy our BBQ every few days. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. Having the guest suite at the back of the house was even better for us as it allowed my youngest child to nap in quiet while the main house was bustling with the rest of our group. The swimming pool in the backyard was the perfect size for us all to enjoy - a quick dip to cool off when the sun and heat became too much to bear. However, the biggest bonus was having a beautiful beach right across the street! It was like having our own private beach as it was never busy and the water was just beautiful. Ms. St. John was very helpful in assisting us with any questions or concerns that we may have had and provided some referrals and recommendations to us that were useful. Cleaning was provided to us twice a week, which was great. The people of Barbados were kind and helpful to us and we would highly recommend a visit here any time. Taking the bus was a bit worrisome at first but we quickly figured out where we had to go and if we had any questions, the Barbadians assisted us with directions with smiling faces. Would highly recommend the Safari Tour around the island, a full day adventure that allows you to see alot of Barbados in a short time and a visit to Harrison's Cave as well. The only downside to being at the villa was the noise coming from the cars/trucks on the main road, as it was a bit loud, but you eventually get used to it. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would go back.
Owner response:Your review of Seaford Garden Villa with its fragrant plants and blooming frangipani was very kind of you. This review speaks to the living accommodations at Seaford Villa and we enjoyed having your extended family. The children were able to enjoy the pool as well as ocean, which as you pointed out is not crowded (a well kept secret). We are pleased that you were able to enjoy our modern kitchen as well as sample our local cuisine. Luckily, you were able to visit some of our places of interest and since a large part of our business is repeat guests, we look forward to your return visit in the near future. We cater to families like yours.

Lovely villa, 2 families shared the accomodations. We stayed in the main house 2 adults, 2 kids and our friends stayed in the guest room by the pool with their young son. The kitchen is beautiful, lovely place to cook. Has everything a person would need to make all of their meals. Master bath was large, separate tub/ shower and dual sinks. Easy to get ready quickly in the morning. Beach is right across the street, be careful crossing however the road is narrow and busy-children should always be accompanied by an adult while crossing. Large side yard to play on for children. Nice pool, lovely front veranda to sit on with your morning coffee to watch the sunrise. On main bus route, 5 minute walk to supermarket, or 10 min bus ride to larger shopping area of Holetown. The owner phoned us part way through our stay to make sure everything was going well, and she gave us great advice before we arrived. The caretaker was friendly and helpful, showed us around the first day and checked up on us once during the stay. The villa was very clean when we arrived and was maintained during the week visit also. We were very happy with the villa and would return again without question.
Owner response:Thank you for your gracious review . Over the years we have received similar reviews from many of our guests who express their pleasure at the amenities provided by Seaford Villa which include the proximity to the beach and the villa's easy access to transportation and shopping; in addition to the feeling of being "at home away from home". Your review makes it very clear that we are accurate and truthful in our advertising of Seaford Villa as a classic villa located near the beach on the fashionable West coast of Barbados.
