It's summer all the time in Maui with perfect days so extend your summer. If you don't see the dates you want available on my calendar, please contact me. I also help friends rent their condos and can probably find you an oceanfront condo for your stay.

Whether you are inside or out you'll be in the tropical mood staying in our condo. Painted with flowers and palm trees will give you the same feeling inside as you will find outside among the tropical foliage and banana trees.

Our fully-equipped, smoke-free, private, oceanfront, one bedroom, one bath, third floor condo in the Milowai commands a magnificent panoramic view of the deep blue ocean. Direct your eyes downward from the lanai to the pool, which is equally as blue as the ocean. It is truly the endless summer!

Have your breakfast on the lanai, as we love to do, while watching the sunrise over the majestic Haleakala volcano while you mentally plan your lazy day.

There are 41 units in our complex and we are surrounded by cane fields and the ocean. Among the stencilled palm trees and flowers, our condo is tastefully decorated in Pier One style and has everything you can imagine to make your vacation extremely comfortable. We've equipped it as we would like a vacation rental to be for us. In fact, we just bought a new sealy mattress and box spring so your nights with be just as enjoyable as your days!

In the winter months you can relax right on the lanai and let the humpback whales entertain you, or walk a block to the Ma'alaea Harbor and board one of the many boats available to take you out into the Harbor for a real up-close view.

Oh, and don't forget to watch for the turtles swimming around. On the walk back, take advantage of a great meal at one of the award-winning restaurants for a quick snack or full-course lunch or dinner. In fact, one of these restaurants, the Waterfront, is located right on the first floor of the Milowai!

At the end of our dead-end road, there is a four-mile sandy beach that awaits your laziness. On your walk to the beach, you will be greeted by the friendliest people you can meet -- hellos and smiles will be abound.

Once at the beach you can sit in the warm inviting sunshine, or under one of the wide, broad shaped trees. We've even seen vacationers taking advantage of a relaxing massage right on the beach. Now that's heaven on earth!

The Ocean Center (Aquarium) and shops are located one block away and a miniature golf and rock climbing center is right next door to the Ocean Center.

There is also a convenience store and gas station located in the Ocean Center complex for your quick shopping needs. Major shopping is ten minutes away and we are centrally located so you can visit all parts of the Island very easily.

  • Lanai: Many guests have had a hard time leaving the lanai to sightsee. It's relaxing and entertaining with whales in the winter, ocassional surfers when the waves are big and rowers when it's calm.

  • This condo was a great find. It is perfect for 2 or 3 people. I slept on the futon in the living room and my mom slept in the bedroom. It was a very comfortable place with a large lanai. It was very quiet and the location can't be beat. You MUST check out the Maui Ocean Center when you are here. I loved the open feeling of the kitchen and living room. Thank you Barbara for sharing your beautiful home!

  • We were in unit 304 from July 16 thru September 1, 2008. We wanted to get out of the Phoenix heat and change our routines. Very good decision. We have been to Maui 3-4 times before. This is a great area. Would recommend. We loved Barb's unit and really enjoyed the ocean view and sound. We ate out once a day. We rented a car for 25 of the 45 days and rode the bus 10 days. The bus was great. We did Hana twice and the crater trip twice. We liked Buzz's and Mama's and eating at the nicer hotel/golf courses in Wailea. The Waterfront is OK but we do not care for fish much and feel this place is overrated. Would recommend going to Lani'a if you like nice places. If you like extreme casual don't go to Lani'a or Wailea, it is upscale and pricey but we loved 'em. Why not enjoy your vacation. The Maui ocean aquarian is very nice. We rented a week pass and went several times. We saw every part of Maui before and this trip. For us this is a great location and place to stay. Whatever. Joe and Sandy Martin

The location is perfect for easy island exploring, and the views from the lanai are breathtaking. We saw whales daily, and an occasional sea lion just below. We did not miss a sunrise.   • We returned last week from our honeymoon in Maui and had a wonderful time making this condo our home for the week! It rained most days we were there but we still enjoyed every moment of our stay. The condo was stocked with everything we needed... all we had to supply was our own food and drink. Amazing view right on the ocean and we loved the location. Quiet and secluded and only about a 25 minute drive to Lahaina or Kihei.

  • We stayed in this great condo from 8/12 -8/19. We loved how quiet it was, the great sunrises, sunsets, and the nice, constant breeze blowing through. We used the cooler and beach chairs just about everyday. The kitchen truly had everything we could need. We cooked in the unit most nights and packed our lunch each day. Some of the things we did that future guests should not miss out on - snorkeling - just about anywhere, the Road to Hana, and the sunrise at Haleakala. The Old Lahaina Luau was great, as was walking around Lahaina. This condo was very centrally located - couldn't be any better. We hope to make it back to Maui sometime in the not too distant future - with the kids this time - and we will definately try to stay here again!

  • Our stay was Sep 1-8th and we loved everyday of it. The condo made us feel at home and our stay didn't feel nearly long enough. I loved waking up to the sound of the ocean and watching the sunrise almost every morning. We got to see some turtles one morning. We made use of the boogie boards and cooler. All of the extras were nice. Mahalo for one wonderful experience!
