Extend your summertime in Maui. Located in the Milowai condo complex, come enjoy that warm Hawaiian sun, the trade winds blowing and the ocean right in front of you. In fact the only thing between you and the water is the warm air! There are no streets to cross, no "peek-a-boo" views -- you are direct oceanfront.

Our one bedroom, one bath, oceanfront, second floor condo is very special to us and we would like to share it with you. It was here we first visited Maui years ago and fell in love with the blue ocean steps away and the soothing sound of the waves breaking on the shore right in front of us.

We fell in love with the view from the lanai - watching the bright, warm sun rising over Haleakala volcano each morning we were mesmerized by the view, while we sipped coffee and read the morning paper. The lanai even has a rocking chair.

Hey, ask us about a 2-bedroom for rent for only $135/nt plus tax and cleaning. It's oceanfront also!

We have ceramic floors, mirrored walls, and you'll see the local sights of Maui on the walls through my photographs.

We have vintage Hawaiian furniture throughout, our new kitchen has white cabinets, new appliances, all new dishware, new silverware, new cookware, and all new linens.

Our bedroom has mirrored closet doors and white plantation shutters. These shutters allow you to open the top for a great breeze that is always present in Ma'alaea while giving you the maximum amount of privacy. There is a screen door on the front door and the main front door has an adjustable door stop so you can open it with various degrees of openness.

We have two brand new ceiling fans, one in the bedroom and the other in the living room.

Our queen size bed features a new mattress and boxspring and you'll sleep on our 400 thread-count linens. There is a mountain view from the bedroom.

If you want to relax in the condo, you'll find a large selection of DVD and VCR tapes of all varieties of movies. You'll never have to take a trip to the video store!

The view from the lanai is the gem of our condo. There is only one word to describe it--OUTSTANDING! Watch the sailboats, snorkelers, surfers and swimmers put on a show right in front of your eyes.

In the winter you will be entertained by the humpback whales from the lanai and if you really want to get up close with the whales, walk the one block to the harbor and board a whale watching boat.

On the walk back visit the many award winning restaurants for a snack or full course lunch or dinner. In fact, there is an award winning restaurant right in our building.

There's a small beach in front of the condo complex, at the end of our dead-end street is a four-mile white sandy beach.

On the beach you can choose to sit in the warm inviting sunshine, or under one of the broad, wide shade trees. There's never a crowd here, just the friendliest people you can imagine. You can even arrange to have a massage right on the beach!

The Ocean Center (Aquarium) is located one block away and there's a mini-gold course, rock climbing wall and plenty of shops for you to spend some time. There's a convenience store located there for some quick pick ups of food. Larger stores are just 15 minutes away.

As you can see, this is our special place and we want to share it with you to make this your home away from home.

  • We stayed in suite #206 for our two week trip to Maui and it was great. Barbara's condo is central to everything and the best part there is a cute little harbor near by. There are beaches all over the island, so it doesn't matter where you stay you will find one. The condo had all the amenities we needed and Barbara was so kind to help us find a place where we could rent a crib for our little guy. We arrive late the first night and it was nice to have banana bread and coffee waiting for us for morning. I recommend this condo, and will be telling all my friend about it. Thanks Barb!

  • What to say ? This is very central so that we could criss cross the island very easily. The owner (Barbara) is very friendly and helped us a lot... a really great communication before, during our stay and after. Greatly recommended. You can see the Aleakala in front of you and also the bay... so for the price it is unbeatable. This rental is like Maui : very quiet ! We really appreciated everything... thank you !

  • This is definitely worth a return trip. The location is fabulous. The view is perfection and I loved that it is away from the crowds, in a small village setting. The suite is great. Everything I needed was there and more. Barbara gave a lot of info that really paid off. For example, I got a good deal on a rental; a good deal on a whale watching tour with an excellent company. Barbara was great - quickly answered email, calls and her lovely welcoming gesture really was very touching. I would encourage travellers to use her place.

  • We enjoyed every minute of our 4 week stay at your comfy condo #206.We ate most of our meals on the deck taking in the gorgeous ocean views and sounds (great deck dining table and chairs, by the way)The sectional couch was really comfortable on the evenings that we stayed in and watched one of your dvds from the big selection you have in the condo. The great ocean view from the kitchen made cooking and clean up a pleasure (not something I'd normally say!!)The kitchen is well supplied with lots of good quality pots and pans, utensils etc We slept well in the queen size bed with the breeze from the window and/or ceilling fan and appreciated all the drawers. It's obvious Barbara that you put lots of thought into making your condos a home away from home.We hope to come back next year Mahalo Daphne and Dave Parker

  • My fiance and I stayed at Barbara's condo for 6 nights during October. We had a great time thanks to the wonderful condo. The condo was very clean and well-equipped. We cooked dinner (stopped by the Costco near the airport) almost every night as the kitchen is fully equipped and enjoyed the fabulous ocean view on the lanai. We took full advantage of the indoor washer and dryer, so we had clean beachwear everyday. The beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkeling gears also came in handy. Staying in this condo will definitely save you a lot of money and provide you amenities that hotels won't offer. The location is also excellent and central in a quiet neighborhood that is close to the airport, Lahaina, and Kannapali. I definitely like it better than Kihei. Lastly, Barbara was very professional and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this condo to everyone. I know I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Maui. Thank you, Barbara.

  • Location...Location... Location. What a great centrally located spot for travelling either east or west on the island. We felt we were in the middle of things, but at the same time in a quiet place, off the beaten path! The view of the Bay with Haleakala in the background is beautiful. And oh those sunrises!!! We felt very much at home here. Big Beach was a favorite, but the litle beach just down the street was a well kept secret. It felt like "our own!" The place is well equipped. If you're coming for two weeks, pack for only one. The washer and dryer made it so convenient! Although there are many wonderful restaurants, we found it just as rewarding cooking steaks on the grill by the water, and eating dinner on the lanai with a nice glass of wine, while watching the sunset.   • We had a great time in your condo, and especially appreciated all the beach equipment, even down to coolers and a big beach bag! The kitchen is really nicely equipped too - and the bbq on the lawn was amazing. Thanks for thinking of everything one would need for a perfect vacation.

  • The condo, it's location, comforts, accommodations, and views were outstanding!!! We experienced stormy weather, but were sheltered in our condo (could still enjoy the rain from the patio!). We experienced sugar cane field burn, but were protected from smoke and ash (learned about the life cycle of sugar cane!). We dined on the patio for every meal, and enjoyed morning, noon and nightime views (they really were spectacular!). We enjoyed everything about the condo. We'd love to come and stay again, and will certainly recommed it to our friends.
