Enjoy your vacation in a home between breathtaking Ocean View Drive and the beach. There are only a handful of homes on this secluded one-block stretch of hidden Nellie road. Directly across the street, as well as the land to the west are undeveloped woodland areas.
Here you're 175 steps away to the wide open ocean beach. Looking out eastwards over the Atlantic, nature has it's way of letting you know that you're at the grand ocean. It's a notable distinction compared to a pond, bay, or marsh setting. Ramble down a tucked away path to Lecount Hollow beach by Maguire's Landing and stroll along a quintessential Cape Cod beach. Catch an incredible sunrise coming up over the easterly ocean horizon. At the end of the day, you can sit on the outdoor deck and enjoy the water view.
The home is literally inside the boundaries of the Cape Cod National Seashore, one of our great National Parks. The home is one of a limited number inside the Park. The land's natural beauty will remain a gem since it is protected from further development after earning Park status in 1961 by presidential decree.
Spend time enjoy the sights, sounds and fresh air while you walk or bike along The Cape Cod Rail Trail. The trailhead entrance is about 3/4 mile down the road. Formerly a railroad route, the path runs through the Cape for 22 miles and offers excellent biking and walking.
In addition to this 2 bedroom home, the 3 bedroom home next door is available for vacation rentals and might be available to be booked together for those planning a larger group.

Wellfleet is a special place because of the natural beauty (ocean, beach, marsh, woods, kettle hole ponds), fresh seafood, relaxing atmosphere, and cultural activities. We love that the home is in a National Park because of building restrictions which keep the area from being over-developed like some other areas of the Cape.

We enjoy walking from the cottage to see the stunning dunes, exploring the water's edge in the many tucked away spots, spending quality time with friends and family, eating native Wellfleet oysters, barbecuing, biking the Cape Cod Rail Trail which is just down the road from the house, and going to the Wellfleet Drive-In theatre.
Beautiful views of grand dunes. White sand. Beach runs for miles in either direction. Great waves !
Great for biking and walking! The Cape Cod Rail Trail follows a former railroad right-of-way for 22 miles through the several towns. Its paved, there are few hills, and is well-marked.
Cape Cod's only Oceanfront restaurant and bar. Casual full service waterfront location. Voted "Best outdoor dining", "Best raw bar", "Best live entertainment", and "Best bar on Cape Cod".

We love being in Wellfleet. Steve (left) has been enjoying Wellfleet since he was a kid. He likes walking miles on the beach, jumping in the waves, and relaxing with his wife Anne. Cliff (right) likes eating, paragliding, sailing, & Rollerblading. We're all fans of Wellfleet oysters, barbecuing, and a night on the town. We both love sharing the spirit of Wellfleet with others.
