Why the Owner Chose Tyra IV Riverbend Lodge
Breckenridge Ski resort has some of the best skiing and snow conditions in North America, especially with the resort’s addition of the Imperial Chair Lift that drops you off at around 12,800 feet. Which allows a run over 4 ½ mile straight to the Condo . We also love the stream that runs right outside our 2 balconies. We love walking out doors and having the ski lift right there as a true ski-in/ski-out condo. It’s also great for coming back to the condo for lunch (saves on resort lunch cost). Additionally, the summer is just as nice with the wildflowers and wildlife is awesome. With all that said Breckenridge is a perfect year round vacation spot.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
This is the perfect ski-in/ski-out. There is no walking up or downhill 300 yards to get to the Snow Flake Lift – it is right out the back door. Our condo has a great, roomy floor plan. We love being at the end of the Lodge which allows us to have two balconies for our 2 master suites and a view of the forest, stream and Peak 8 Ski Mountain. Snow Flake lift is right out the back door in the winter, which turns into one of the best hiking trails in the summer. The heated covered parking is unique to our building. You can buy lift tickets and rent ski/board gear right next door at Blue Ski Lodge or Tyra Stream (15% Discount) and then jump on the lift. In our Lodge you will enjoy the workout room, sauna and the indoor/outdoor hot tubs.
Discounts are available for 4 night or longer stays, and military personnel. Additionally, discounted ski/board rentals when you stay with us.
I don't recommend you take it is flat in one area if you don't keep your speed up.

This condominium was perfect for our needs. The location is good, close enough to town but not right in it. The ski-in, ski-out option is great! The ticket office and a ski rental shop is conveniently located right next door. The decor was warm and comfortable. Having a kitchen with our large family was ideal. Bunk beds for teens was also great! The owner is very responsive to any requests or issues. Thanks for having us! We had a great time and great Spring Snow!

"We had a wonderful time, Scott was very understanding of our needs. Which we had alot of them!!. The condo was very well maintained. We loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. It was very warm, when they say" keep the thermostat on low" they mean it. WOW!!! The ski lift was just feet away, which was great. Take the Four O Clock run down and just walk across the road and your home. We buy our ski tickets before we get to town at Safeway. Our family has been coming out to this area for over 15 years now, and we can say this condo is in our top 3 favorite places to stay. Thanks to Scott, for all your extra help. Am sure we will be contacting you again next year. Janelle H Nevada, IA

It's always nice to open the door to your rented condominium and have the whole family smiling and excited. This unit is well-appointed, spacious and in a great location. The grocery store is minutes away, as is the gondola. We stayed in the summertime (what an awesome time to visit Breck!) and the gondola takes you to a summer paradise: Alpine Slide, mini-golf, etc. We all had a blast and enjoyed coming back to this beautiful place every night. Highly recommend. (The only thing I would add is that the Xbox is a regular Xbox, and does not play 360 games, luckily one of the games we brought was a regular Xbox game.)
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed at the condo from the 20-27 Dec 2008 and had a FABULOUS time. The condo itself is definitely upscale with all the comforts...the gas fireplace was great and we hit the hot tubs, steam room and sauna every day! Its location to the Snowflake lift was super and you can buy lift tickets right next to the lift too, but make sure you come down the 4 o'clock run to get back to the condo (there is a cutoff to the right that takes you to a spot right across the street from the condo). Its also right on the bus run to downtown and its not even a bad walk if you're inclined. Scott and Shirley were awesome hosts and their condo is at the top of the list as far as we're concerned.

I organize an annual ski trip to Colorado with my family and friends. We found this property two years ago and have rented it for two consecutive years. It is perfect for us - walking distance to the downtown "strip" with restaraunts and night clubs, just a few steps from the Snowflake Lift, where your first ride in the morning is available without a lift pass (so you can ride up and take your first run to the bottom where you buy your lift pass. The condo is comfortable and clean and very nice. two sets of bunk beds in the third bedroom is great for up to 4 kids (or bigger guys who don't snore too loudly!) The heated covered parking area, ski lockers, and the ability to ski back to the condo for lunch makes this a favorite with my crew! Thanks, Scott, for making your condo available to us flatlanders. :-)

7 of us stayed Dec 17-24, 2005. We had a wonderful stay (This is definately an upper class property). The heating units never needed to be turned on as the building radiated enough heat. The fireplace was a nice touch. We used the humidifier the entire time which needed to be filled atleast daily (very easy) The kitchen was nicely stocked with any pots, pans, utensils one would need. Dishwasher with detergent provided made it easy to stay cleaned up. It was great having 3 bathrooms (be sure to bring soap, shampoo, etc. as there is none there) The only thing we felt was missing was a tv in the master bedroom. A very nice big one was in the living room and a small one with x-box in the bunk bedroom (don't forget to bring your x-box games...our kids used this a lot) We were in Breck April 2005, and these accomodations much surpassed the last ones and believe it or not...were cheaper. The snowflake lift is just steps away and the 4'oclock run brought us just steps back to the unit. The hot tubs were never crowded, but were really hot. The sauna and steam room were also enjoyable. We did not take advantage of the exercise room but it looked nice. The kids took the free bus system to the rec center for racketball, basketball, and indoor pool with water slides and rope swing (cost $6-$10/day). Down town was an easy couple of blocks to walk where we found a cheaper place to rent skis ($13/day for 5 days included boots, skis and poles) A Racer's Edge 114 N. Main St. Also enjoyed the shops and restaurants. City market grocery (Kroger) was crowded but had everything we needed at reg. price (get a discount card at the cust. service desk or use your Kroger card for discounts). We would grade these accomadations a definate A and our second stay in Breckenridge an A plus.
