Due to the adjacent situation of the rooms, the apartment is ideal for stays of families with children.
1500 square feet (140 square meters), three balconies, air-conditioned apartment situated in the heart of Barcelona (two minutes walking from Plaza Catalunya and Ramblas).
Three bedroom, one with double-size bed, one double-size room with twin beds, and a suite with twin beds and a coach (all single beds are convertible allowing them to adapt to one double-size bed or two separates singles).
Two bathrooms and one powder room.
Complete kitchen: stainless steel dishwasher (BOSCH), stainless steel refrigerator (LIEBHERR), food mixer, stainless steel microwave oven, toaster, coffee pot, kettle, and cooking utensils and containers.
Dining room with a two-and-one-half meter table which can seat eight people quite comfortably next to the kitchen.

This apartment was perfect for our family holiday. The location is absolutely excellent, and the apartment is quite beautiful and extremely well kept. We are a family of 5 adults (parents, married child and spouse, and single child) and the space accommodated our needs in every way. Two bedrooms are separated by double doors and one is set off with its own bathroom. The 1/2 bathroom is a bonus and supports family harmony! The kitchen is well equipped (and even has a dish washer!!) and three balconies let in plenty of light, but the double glass windows ensure a very quiet street side. The 3rd and separate bedroom is very dark for those late sleepers, but must have thin walls as the neighbors could sometimes be heard. We can't say enough good things about the host - who provided us with much useful and accurate information - and his lovely sister who checked us in and out and made sure we had everything we needed. They even solved problems with the Internet on a holiday! When we return to Barcelona, this will be our first choice for accomidations. We would also recommend it to anyone who wants to feel at home in this bustling and magical city. Did we mention that this is a great location??? You can't get better! We can't wait to return!

Art Nouveau was a great location. It was perfect for 5 friends to be able to relax, enjoy the city, and just enjoy hanging out. Valentin was a wonderful host. The building was very secure. I would recommend this location to friends and family. Thanks so much for making our vacation wonderful.

6 of us (3 couples) stayed at this apartment for 5 nights recently. The place accommodated us all very comfortably. We cooked dinner in a couple nights and the kitchen is clean and well equipped. The location is extremely convenient to all the great opportunities that Barcelona offers. Reliable wireless network was a welcome plus. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at this apartment. It is large and perfect for 5 ladies in a week-long trip to Barcelona. I can't recommend enough the location, right on the edge of the old quarter and very close to Placa de Catalunya and La Rambla. There are so many restaurants tucked away in the small streets of the old city, it is very easy to simply wander out the door and find something suitable to eat each night. Having stayed in the Eixample area of Barcelona, this is a much better location if you are planning a trip to Barcelona. Much less street noise from cars but lots of people on the streets keeping it lively. The apartment is very spacious.

Mid May 2011 we stayed at this great appartment for five days. My Mom, my sister-in-law my self and our three daughters (ages 7-8-9),on a “girls” trip. The location is the best you can expect, on a small quiet street off Las Ramblas. Just 3 min walk from Plaça de Catalunya where you can take the special tour bus around town. Shopping, restaurants, Gaudi, markets, galleries they are all in a short walking distance. The apartment was perfect in size (actually very spacious), well equipped and very clean. It has an old charm atmosphere with a very updated equipment and details. The building is renovated and felt very safe. The owner met us on site as we arrived and was attentive to every question or request. Barcelona is one of my favorite cities to visit (it was my fourth time) but staying at the apartment felt almost like home.

I used VRBO apartments for our entire trip through Italy and Spain and everything was as planned and explained and was with absolute commitment to us each time we arrived to each destination. Our beautiful apartment in Barcelona was just as stunning as the photos and the location was superb. We stayed at this apartment for about a week in August. It is a truly beautiful place to stay and the location couldn't be more convenient. The kitchen is well equipped, everything was very clean. The owner and his sister were extremely helpful to us and acted quickly when there was a problem (the only problem was that the elevator stopped working one day and one of our party uses a wheelchair, this was resolved within an hour). The apartment is quite wheelchair accessible. There is one small step down from the living room area to the dining area, but we had a small portable ramp along for just such problems. The front entrance to the building also poses a small problem to wheelchair users because you basically need two small ramps, one for each side of the door to get over the high threshold. We scrounged up some boards to use on one side and used our ramp on the other side. The elevator was large enough to accommodate a large power chair. The turn into the apartment is a little tight, but manageable (and this is a really large power wheelchair). The bathrooms were not large enough to accommodate a wheelchair. A small chair might be able to get into one of the bathrooms, but the doors are narrow and the spaces tight. This wasn't a problem for us -- we're used to working around this situation. Our kids were happy to have a home to come back to after our Barcelona adventures and we all had a great time!

How lucky we were to choose this property for our Barcelona vacation. From the warm welcome we received when we arrived and throughout our stay we felt that all our needs were met, that we had a home away from home. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, fully equipped and immaculate. The location could not be better. While so close to Las Ramblas, because of the small street where it is located, it felt quiet and peaceful, perfect for a rest after a day of sightseeing. Walking distance to the beautiful outdoor market, we were delighted to be able to buy fresh fruits and vegetables daily. Sights like La Familia Sagrada, Casa Batllo and other Gaudi works, the Picasso Museum, all the great restaurants and shopping on and around Las Ramblas were within easy walking distance. The metro station was just around the corner for further destinations. Valentin was so helpful prior to our trip, answering my many questions. I felt assured that he would be able to give us help if we needed it during our stay. We stayed in 3 cities during our European vacation and our week in Barcelona was my favorite. A big part of it was because of the great apartment. I was on the trip with my two adult children, my son-in-law and my two grandchildren, ages 5 and 11. The apartment was spacious enough that we all felt like we had our own space. The children had plenty of room to play and a bedroom far enough from the living area that sleep came easy for them while the rest of us were still up and about. It was more than adequate for all 6 of us. Barcelona is a fabulous vacation destination and Valentin's apartment couldn't be more perfect to make the trip one of the best ever.

My husband and I stayed in this appt July 2010 for a little over a week with our 2 daughters. The appartment exceeded our expections. The location is ideal and central for a visit to the city. Every thing we needed access to was very close: Metro stations, buses, the Rambla, the Bocaria, high and low end shopping. Grocery stores, bakeries, gelatorias and must see sights are all right there. The place was clean and stocked for us. We would recommend this place to any friends who want to visit the city.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment everything was super, the location, easy transport links. there is plenty of room for a big family and we had a baby with us and everything was provided. A well stocked ,clean apartment, beautiful floors and very comfortable. I would recommend this property it was a taste of Spain in a vibrant city, we loved it.
