  My wife and I, our two boys, and my wife's sister and her husband spent a week at this apartment. It was as advertised in the listing, and it was perfect for us. The owner was fantastic to work with, very accommodating, and went out of his way for us. Just a perfect gentleman with great follow-through. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. It has a well appointed kitchen, the living area is comfortable with a large Samsung HD TV, and it also has a washer and dryer. It is one block from Las Ramblas, and a very short walk to the Metro. There is a great vegetarian restaurant, Teresa Carles, right across the street that we unfortunately only ate at once. There is a Starbucks a block away, great bakeries within a stone's throw of each other, even a small supermarket within 10 steps of the apartment building. Can not recommend this apartment highly enough.

  The property was excellent, it had everything you could possibly need, even hairdryers. We found the apartment in a great position for sightseeing, meals out and just generally relaxing. The pictures of the apartment do not do it justice, but this is usually the case. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The owner met us there on our arrival from the airport, he showed us around and answered any questions we had. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking to be based close to Las Ramblas, shops and their are two great restaurants across the road one of which is vegetarian which is also great for breakfast or brunch.

  This is a great apt. and has been nicely remodeled. The beds were very comfortable. It is a great location in the city. It was clean and well-maintained. They had nice towels, and soap for bathroom/showers. It is a very spacious place. The renting process was very easy with the owner.

  The apartment is spacious and beautifully appointed and safe. The location makes exploring Barcelona easy and convenient. We enjoyed our holiday in style and comfort. The neighborhood is great to explore and you will find your host accommodating and friendly.

  The location of this apartment is amazing, one block from Place Catalyna and Las Rambas. We stayed for a week in Barcelona in December enjoying the fabulous Christmas Market and Street lights. The apartment is very clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Valentin was a very hospitable host and was available to check us in and go over everything in the apartment. One member of our party arrived a couple of days after us and had to arrange for valentin to let her into the apartment. The charge was 60 Euros which we thought was a bit high, in hindsight we should have asked about this prior to booking. The apartment is very spacious. The elevator was a bit confusing because it served two seperate sides of the building. There is a great vegetarian restaurant right across the street and many small stores selling wine, bread and groceries within a block or two. There were no surprises, the apartment was exactly as stated on the VRBO website. If you are headed to Barcelona this apartment has both comfort and style, you feel like a you are truly living as a part of this great city.

  this fabulous apartment lived up to all our expectations - and more. I searched the 'Net for days and days - but you should stop here and reserve this place. It was simply fantastic. Valentin and family were always available for questions and help. The apartment is very big, immaculately clean and came with nice amenities (lots of large towels, small soaps and shampoos, 2 hair dryers, coffee maker, beer in the refrigerator, cookies, olive oil, spices and more). I cannot say enough about the location - it could not have been better - a very short walk to Las Ramblas but exceptionally quiet at night. We bought local produce and fish at the famous La Bocaria (5 minute walk away) and cooked at home some nights, but found an excellent restaurant right across the street (L'Oliv). You can walk to most of the famous sights, and return home to cool off and rest - then go back out again to enjoy this amazing, lively city. You cannot find a better place to enjoy your stay in Barcelona.

  The apartment was perfect for our group of 7. It is centrally located within walking distance of a ton of great Barcelona sites, including the beach. The place is well-maintained and tidy. Air conditioning is good through out . I would definitely recommend this apartment. I also commend communication with the owner Valentin. Between sending the deposit and gaining access to the apartment, the process was seamless --all handled through e-mail!

  This is a renovated apartment within a century-old building in a very central part of the city. It is on a quiet side-street, a definite plus in busy Barcelona. Fine restaurants abound nearby, most monuments, museums, and local sites are a stroll or a bus or metro ride away. The apartment is rather dark, with the only windows to the street in the front two bedrooms, one of which has only a hall half-bath with cold water. The third bedroom has no windows except for one in its bath, opening to an air shaft. The kitchen has newer appliances, and a dining table seating six. The living room also is windowless. Owner is extremely helpful, and speaks excellent English.
