Large (3200 square foot) luxurious home in elite Wolfe Estates which is serene and scenic.

Spectacular mountain or lake views from every room.

Spacious great room and deck. Great room has formal dining area, vaulted ceilings, satellite TV, DVD and VHS, gas fireplace and beautiful mountains views.

Spacious kitchen with adjacent breakfast area with forest views.

Exceptionally spacious deck with charcoal barbeque, rocker swing, lounging chairs, large patio table with umbrella and two bistro table sets.

There is a rustic landscaped half acre front yard with paths and wildflowers.

West wing luxury master suite has a queen bed, gas fireplace, sitting area, multi-mountain views and elegant bathtub with jacuzzi with private forest view.

East wing luxurious master suite has a king and single bed, an extra large jacuzzi tub and its own private deck with view of Donner Lake and mountains.

Two large bedrooms downstairs with mountain views and exquisite full bathtub with jacuzzi. One bedroom has a two single beds and its own private patio with table and chairs. The other bedroom has one double and single bed. Bedrooms open up to large family room with leather couch, Satellite TV, DVD and VHS, and full marble wet bar with stools.

Large laundry/mud room with small patio with forest view. There is a double garage and an adjacent separate single garage.

Centrally located to all the Truckee, Donner Lake & Lake Tahoe area, 40 minutes to Reno, excellent hiking trials, road biking and mountain biking trials (bike rentals available), fishing, fly fishing, golfing, boating, river rafting, kayaking, historical sites, rock climbing and championship skiing at Squaw Valley, Heavenly, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Sugar Bowl and Boreal.

***5 minute walk to Donner Lake West End beach (a family beach) and many docks for picnics and fishing. Boat rentals available.

***10 minute drive to Sugar Bowl, Boreal Ski, & Royal Gorge areas, 20 min to Northstar and 8 miles to Squaw Valley USA.

  • We spent five lovely days at Snow Dance Place during our daughter's wedding in the area. We found the house to be extremely comfortable in all respects - layout, design, furniture, and equipment. The spaciousness of the house gave everyone plenty of room and privacy, and the many beautiful seating areas plenty of opportunity to hang out together. Highly recommended.

  • We just enjoyed Memorial Day 2009 at the Nord Family's beautiful home. We arrived very late at night but found it the 1st try with the assistance of excellent directions. The next morning we were so excited to open the window blinds and it was like opening Christmas presents to see each wonderful surprise that each window held. Beautiful Lake views, trees, snow capped mountains, the train snow shed, the train going by. It was a wonderful relaxing stay and we cannot wait to come back. The home was meticulously appointed and comfortable beyond anything we expected. Thank you.

  • We stayed at the Snowdance home at the end of January with our family, my sister's family and five kids all under the age of 5. We had a WONDERFUL time!!! Your home is so comfortable and spacious! We could all spread out and cooking in your beautifully appointed kitchen was a dream. With two families, we loved that there were two master bedrooms, and there was plenty of room for the kids and Grandma too. It was a winter wonderland of snow the weekend we visited. Since the house is perfectly situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, we actually took the kids sledding right down the driveway. It was like our own little private snow park! The kids had a blast! I highly recommend your home, and we can't wait to visit in the summer too. :-)

  • We had a wonderful stay at Snowdance! A truly comfortable home, though we lived on that spectacular deck! We were blessed with a wonderful Thunderstorm to be followed by an amazing sunset and then two days of glorious sunshine. Views to die for and walking distance to the lake. A perfect location and so peaceful and quiet. We will be back!

  • Just got back from a glorious summer break at the Nord's lovely lake home. If you are looking for heavenly silence (except for the lovely sound of birds & crickets) and GORGEOUS views of the mountains and lake...then this is the place for you!! Very comfortable home with all of the conveniences. It was hard to leave!!

  • Having stayed here twice, I must say that the pictures on this page do NOT do justice to this ABSOLUTELY GEORGEOUS and VERY LARGE jewel of a house (very evidently designed and built with love and passion in every detail) nestled into some of the worlds most EXQUITE natural surroundings. From the moment you drive up, you are filled with a sense of luxurious peace that seems to pervade the architechture and decoration.   • I don't know which was more beautiful, the house or the views! The day of our arrival, it was snowing. The driveway was plowed for easy access. There was a quick return of our deposit. I highly recommend this home and would stay here again! This place is a 10+.
