Just finished a week at this wonderful property. The home and the grounds are outstanding and with the courtyard, pool, and putting green, you could literally never leave the property. As good as the pictures are, they don't do complete justice to this rental. Sonoma Square is literally minutes away as are many Sonoma winerys. I would recommend this property for a family, or couples, or a girls get away. Great experience!

This was a wonderful home. A gourmet kitchen that flows to a large eating area and comfy living room. The bedrooms are nicely appointed. The owner set up one room with 4 little beds when she found out we were 2 families traveling with 4 little kids. Everything is nice and high-end with out being fussy. The kids could roam and play without us worrying about every little thing. There were great toys and puzzles and tons of books. The outdoor spaces are beautiful. The heated pool was perfection. Again, pool toys and floaties for the kids. Great lawn to play tag on and a putting green too! We will definitely be back. Nice, private property five minutes from Estate restaurant and downtown. Terrific location.

Thinking about taking the family to the south of France? Dreaming about Tuscany? FORGET IT.Mexico? Hawaii? Why ? When you can have dinners in this beautiful garden, relax in the spacious house, swim laps , float or play water games in the warm, lengthy pool.hang out reading or sleeping in the hammock under the enormous willow tree.Feel like you need more stimulation? 10 minutes to town to the famer's market in the square with a jazz band playing. Good restaurants, good markets. How about a wine tour so you can pick up some great wine to drink in this wonderful setting. All of us, 3 kids and 3 adults can't wait to go back.

This home is almost too good to be true. We wanted a place that would feel like a real wine country get-away without being out in the middle of nowhere. This home turned out to be paradise. Our week began with 8 "runaway moms" and we all relaxed the minute we hit the property. The setting of the home, the lovingly tended gardens, the fully equipped kitchen, the eclectic and interesting furnishings, right down to the great books ready to be read welcomed us and made us feel very well cared for. We were able to hop on our bikes and ride through the countryside or pop into town. The location was perfect for day trips to Napa Valley, Healdsburg, and the coast. It was so hard for the moms to return to reality after a blissful 48 hours that we are already planning for a return visit this fall. My husband, tween and teen daughters arrived with another couple later in the week. The home accomodated everyone's varied needs and desires for privacy, tv watching, being active or just vegging out. We cooked, played croquet on the lawn, did a little putting on the green, went for afternoon swims and just laid around and soaked up the gorgeous scenery. We even had a family of resident quail to entertain us. I can't say enough about this place. It's like being invited to a good family friend's home. It's warm and welcoming and very comfortably outfitted. My only reservation is letting on how great it is.... we may not be able to get back in!

The photos here do not lie. What you get when you stay in this cottage is a real sense of being there -- in the California wine country at its best: the luminous sky at dusk, the fragrance of the cottage garden after a hot summer day, when you might swim after dark and look at the stars; the wide open views of the mountains in early morning light. You are not far from the pleasures of the town and city, but while staying in this charming and comfortable cottage, with its gracious, natural, and lovingly tended gardens and the long views that surround it, you will feel that the Sonoma countryside is all yours, at least for the time being. . .
