We've completed a MAJOR REDECORATING PROJECT throughout to give SANIBEL a fresh,new look and have received rave reviews from all our guests! The brightly-colored furnishings lend a distinctly tropical flair to each light-filled room. With interiors painted "Optimistic Yellow" and "Dancing Green," you cannot help but relax & smile & think FUN! The cool tile floors feel great on those bare feet & all bedrooms have carpet.

SANIBEL's HUGE 3rd floor MASTER has a spacious sitting area that includes a SOFA SLEEPER, allowing your wee ones to sleep nearby while you relax on the balcony & experience the glorious sunsets & panoramic view of Emerald Shores. Both master baths have large GARDEN TUBS. Mini-fridge & "dry bar" with coffee maker & blender added to 3rd floor master for early morning coffee or nightcaps on private balcony.

Unlike some vacation homes at Emerald Shores with tiny living rooms & kitchens, SANIBEL has a LARGE GREAT ROOM with OPEN SPACIOUS KITCHEN & BREAKFAST BAR & adjoining dining area - perfect for FAMILY GATHERINGS! We've purchased SPECIAL DISHES for the kids and have both a HIGH CHAIR and a BOOSTER SEAT! Whether you're a gourmet chef or a novice, you'll find everything you need in SANIBEL'S well-equipped kitchen. In the dining room, we've added a NEW MINI-FRIDGE,which provides kids convenient access to juice boxes & adults can grab their own cold beverages of choice.

For those night owls in your family, the Great Room's sofa sleeper is perfect for watching late-night movies/DVDs on our NEW DVD/DVR.

SANIBEL's SCREENED PORCH with picnic table & benches is the ideal spot for your little ones to enjoy summers' treats or to play the BOARD GAMES we provide. We have 3 WAGONS: Choose the LARGE YELLOW WAGON with its own "SANIBEL" license plate & large wheels for easy pulling OR 1 of 2 RED RADIO FLYER WAGONS with built-in seat backs & seat belts.

These WAGONS are perfect to transport kids & beach gear to the nearby LARGE COMMUNITY POOL (~100 ft. from SANIBEL) or to EMERALD SHORES' PRIVATE BEACH PAVILION,which is LESS THAN 1200 FEET from SANIBEL! Or take a spin in our new bright red 4-seater SURREY BICYCLE. You can ride throughout Emerald Shores, over to the beach pavilion, or just pedal along Scenic Gulf Drive at a leisurely pace and go people-watching in style!

  • King Bed (2) : Both the 1st floor Master Bedroom & the 3rd floor Master Bedroom suite have king-size beds.
  • Queen Bed: One of the 2nd floor bedrooms has a queen bed and there's still room for our Winnie The Pooh Pac 'n Play Portable Crib purchased 9/07.
  • Double Bed: Full-size rollaway MAY BE available in some circumstances to provide flexibility in sleeping accommodations but its use is not counted in "sleeps 12" and should not be relied upon. The MAXIMUM # of guests ALLOWED at SANIBEL is 12 - sorry, no exceptions. Sleeping accomodations are NOT appropriate for 12 ADults.
  • Bunk Bed (2) : One of the 2nd floor bedrooms has one SET of bunk beds,which is ONE twin bed on the upper bunk and another twin bed on the lower bunk - sleeping a total of 2 kids in this bedroom.
  • Convertible Bed (2) : Full/Queen Sofa sleeper in Great Room & BRAND NEW (3/08)full/queen sofa sleeper in 3rd floor Master Suite sitting area.

They love playing games & coloring at the picnic table, and it's the perfect spot for them to eat the ice cream purchased from our old-fashioned ice cream vendor whose truck plays music to let you know he's on Pearl Cove. The screened porch is where we keep 8 beach chairs,2 red "Radio Flyer" wagons & 1 LARGE YELLOW WAGON for SANIBEL'S guests' use, and a great place to store bicycles whether you rent them or bring your own!
  • Gazebo: Only 400 yards from SANIBEL - PRIVATE BEACH PAVILION DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH (entry coded for Emerald Shores' guests only) with bathrooms, outdoor shower,covered picnic tables, and walkway to the beach. Ride our NEW TRAM free from Sanibel to beach access - runs Memorial Day to Labor Day.
