This BRAND NEW (2005) house sits on the beach overlooking the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico and St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, recently ranked as the best beach in the United States. (See link below for national rankings.) Cape San Blas is known for its clear, clean water, snow white sand, towering dunes, stunning views and secluded location. If you are looking for a quiet place to soothe away the stress, this is it!
As vacationers seek refuge from the hassle of day life a true refuge is getting harder and harder to find. Seclusion and pristine surroundings area major draw to our area and a visit to our house will tell you why. The snow-white sand from the beach has been blown by onshore winds into the anchoring sea oats to produce some of the largest sand dunes in Florida. Come see and walk across these magnificent dunes, which are 30 to 40 feet high. The aquamarine water is crystal clear and the surf is normally low, making for excellent swimming. Perhaps the best news of all is the peace and quiet that can be enjoyed in the secluded, 2,500-acre beach park which is our immediate, next door neighbor to the North.
With unobstructed views to the Gulf, the Park and St. Joe Bay, Parkside at Secluded Dunes is the best house on the best lot on all of Cape San Blas. This gigantic house has all of the amenities one would expect of luxury accommodations at the beach, and the tasteful furnishings are new as of Spring 2005. You'll find a huge screened porch overlooking the Gulf, massive bathrooms, and a top-of-the-line kitchen with granite countertops, icemaker, and double ovens and 2 refridgerators. The house has four beautiful, airy master bedrooms plus a bunk room with a trundle for the kids. We also have high speed internet and a new 50 inch plasma TV.
Activities abound on the Cape for those who enjoy the outdoors. Fishing is superb, either in front of the house in the surf or minutes away in St. Joe Bay, where tarpon make their yearly appearance in July and August. Cobia, Pompano, Redfish and Speckled Trout help make the Cape a fisherman's paradise. Other popular activities are kayaking and canoeing in the crystal clear waters of the bay, diving for scallops in late summer, crabbing, beachcombing, and swimming in the warm Gulf water. The adjacent state park is a mecca for birdwatchers.
Nightlife on the Cape is what you make it: bonfires on the beach, watching deer on the dunes as you sip a rum punch, and most spectacularly, watching the sun set over the Gulf every night from the porch.
Also, bring your boat and launch it at the state park seconds from our house! |
