Located in an old barn restored nineteenth stone and exposed beams, this cottage is the perfect place for a family vacation or friends. With an area of 85m² and 3 bedrooms, it can accommodate up to 6 people. Very sunny, on a plateau 1150m above sea level, it offers stunning 360 ° view over the mountains of Dévoluy, Céüse and Charance.
This is the beginning of many excursions and ski stations are nearby.
5km from the town of La Roche des Arnauds and 10km from Gap, you can enjoy the pedestrian area of the market with local producers, entertainment and cultural life as theater, new rink ...
Also it is at the end of a small dead end road so no traffic: perfect for kids (and great value!) and the calm and serenity are assured y.

A magical week

No pictures that you see will prepare you for the jaw dropping beauty of this area of France. My husband and I traveled there to visit a friend and the charming cottage became our base for exploration. We found it spotlessly clean and comfortable. In the kitchen are all the tools you will need for preparing delicious meals. (visit the market in Gap on Saturday buy your supply of wine at Bertrand and have lunch next door at Bouchon!!) You have a nice private yard and picnic space just outside the cottage and there are very gentle walking paths nearby, especially one just down the road that follows a canal. Your very helpful hosts can direct you there or to one of the more challenging mountain hikes. Then no worries about a crazy retrofitted bathroom that you so often find in Europe. The shower area is down right luxurious with two sinks a spacious tiled shower and heater to keep you cozy. There is also a washing machine for your laundry. We would wholeheartedly recommend this property and can't wait to return. Pearl and Bob

le clos de lumiere

Gîte trés bien entrenu, d'une propreté exemplaire.Rien ne manque en terme de vaisselle. Situation idéale pour amoureux de la nature. C'est un véritable havre de paix.

la Roche des Arnauds

Habitué aux calme et à la nature nous avons déploré un manque d’intimité du au vis-à-vis avec l’habitation des propriétaires du Gîte, situé juste devant la baie vitrée de la pièce à vivre. Nous avons déploré la fraicheur matinale dans le gîte et la présence de nombreuses toiles d’araignées (dont je suis phobique) Le gîte est parfaitement équipé pour un séjour agréable. Il est proche des stations de Céüse et de La Joue du Loup. Le cadre est très joile.

Beau gîte au calme dans un paysage magnifique

Un agréable gîte tout confort au milieu des champs et prairies. L'endroit est calme, beau et sauvage au point que la photo des mes enfants prises à proximité du gîte me sert maintenant de fond d'écran pour mon PC! L'observation du ciel située à 2 pas du gîte est à ne pas manquer!

TRES AGREABLE - BIEN AMENAGE - PROPRE - BIEN SITUE

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Endroit très très agréable. Belle bâtisse bien exposée à proximité de Gap. Endroit calme, belle vue. Départ de randonnées. Bonne boulangerie ! Paysages sympas.... Propriétaires sympas aussi ! Gîte bien aménagé, confortable. Nous n'avons manqué de rien ! Le parfait n'existe pas mais nous mettons une mention très très bien à cet endroit. Nous avons eu beaucoup de chance cette année la neige était au RdV... Cet aussi un lieu qui doit avoir beaucoup de succès l'été. Le gîte doit être super car ensoleillé.
