LunaSeay is the best all round home on Fripp. We know because we've rented several homes and condos there over the past 10 years. Originally built in the 70's the house under went a total rebuild in 2001. We bought it in December 2004 gave it the funky, comfortable personality that it has today.
LunaSeay is located on the canal and has a private dock so you can bring your boat and park it at your back door. There is also a patio next to the canal that is a perfect spot to watch the sunset with a cold drink or a fishing pole. You can clean the fish you just caught in the double sink on the patio and cook them (or some Frogmore Stew) on the Bayou Classic cooker. A previous guest generously left a genuine crab trap hanging from the dock for you to bait and see how many you can snare in a week! Click the link to our web site for recipe for Frogmore Stew.
Also included in the rental are two custom four seater golf carts one with hot rod flames and a cargo box for carrying your cooler to the beach and the other is high speed, lifted with 22" Mag wheels. The beach is less than two minutes on the golf carts. We have a heavy duty wagon that can be hitched to the golf cart for your transporting needs. At last count we had a least 6 bikes, adult and child sized as well as several beach chairs and beach towels.
The Marina Store and landing, Bonito Boat House restaurant, The Ocean Creek Golf Club and Davis Love Park are less than five minutes on the cart or the bikes. The Veranda Beach cottages, Cabana Club pool complex (both near Activity Center, Camp Fripp and Wardle's Landing) are also easy rides. The Beach Club restaurant, shops, pool facilties, Ocean Point golf course, Ocean Point pool and Ocean Point Grill are across the Bonito bridge in the direction of the entrance to Fripp as well as The Spring Tide Market, Spirit's Store, Mango's Gifts, and Fripp Island Real Estate.
We include four amenity cards so you can swim, dine, play golf, play tennis and do all the other island activities that you have the energy left to do. You can get extra cards at a nominal fee from the Fripp Club office which is located in one of the Beach Club out buildings.
Three of the four large bedrooms have king beds. These are all high quality, very comfortable mattresses. The fourth bedroom is the bunk room which we call the Surf Shack, for the kids, with six bunks, TV and a DVD player. The Surf Shack has it's own bathroom. Bring your own Playstation and look here first for any missing children! There is also a small nursery set up inside the "Bubble Room" if you have a very little one. This house has large closets and great kitchen storage.
The house has a covered wrap around porch with three fans on with six Adirondack chairs. It's the perfect place for the evening cocktail or to finish that "can't put down" novel. Be careful - you may find yourself still there in the morning.
There is a separate ice maker and wet bar so you are always ready for cold drinks. There is also an additional refrigerator in the large detached (not under the house) garage for party supply overflow.
There is an outdoor shower so you can rinse off the sand from the beach or the salt water, fish bait and spilled beer from that fishing trip you and your buddies just took.
There are TV's in every room including a 36 inch flat screen in the main sitting room, with any luck, and good weather, you’ll never turn it on. There is also free wireless internet and a fax machine for those of you who cannot seem to break ties with the real world - even at Fripp (pity).

My family of 11 recently spent the week at Fripp Island and stayed at Lunaseay. It was wonderful! The house is so comfortable. The beds are great, and the grandchildren loved the Surf Shack. We practically lived on the porch watching the golf cart "parade." We loved the beach and the pools. The kitchen was well-equipped and big enough for a lot of us to cook together. We had never been to Fripp before, but we have already booked a week at Lunaseay for next summer. The only thing that wasn't great was the alligator swimming in the creek, but we had fun watching him. The Dickinson Family, Snellville, Georgia

Really enjoyed the week we spent at Lunaseay. Fripp Island is a great retreat. Golfing was great and all the activities were perfect for my 5 year old, who loved the surf shack bedroom. The real experience was the house itself, its perfect, and the golf carts are loads of fun. I would do this vacation again in a heartbeat. thanks to the Seays
