This first year rental house and cabin are on a spectacularly beautiful and private eight acre peninsula of Big Knickerbocker Lake. The house, with three bedrooms and two finished baths, two fireplaces and a great wrap-around deck, sits on the ledge overlooking the two Knickerbocker Lakes. The Cabin is on the point, surrounded by the lake, at the water's edge. There is a dock for great swimming, fishing, and boating. Four kayaks are also available, free of charge.
Boothbay Harbor, the Sheepscot River, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (128 acres of gardens and trails), and the Boothbay Golf Club are all within a mile. Wiscasset, Damarascotta, and Bath are within a 30-minute drive. Freeport, Brunswick, Rockland, and Camden are within one hour.
