  This house was excellent in every way. Everything was just as advertised and the pictures online are very accurate. We had 10 men who were there to have fun and play some golf. Although the golf was not fun for all, we all had fun otherwise. Plenty of room and places to relax. The screened in porch area was the favorite of all. Pool and backyard was large and plenty of poolside furniture not to mention the deck that was used quite often. I would recommend this house to all. Have been to HHI many times and stayed in many homes in Palmetto Dunes, but this one out did the others. Some of our group had not been to HHI but after this week can't wait to go back. And when we do, we will definitely look to stay in this house again.

  My family had the pleasure of staying here in October,there were 17 of us ranging in age of 55 to 4. We were on the end of a two week vacation that started in St. Augustine, Disney and finally our last week was spent here unwinding. I cannot say enough about what a wonderfully relaxing home this is, normally after a week on vacation everyone is ready to go home,but not this time. Several people who planned on leaving early decided they were staying until the end of the week, even then nobody was in a hurry to leave. This property is VERY clean and well maintained. There was extra gas for the grill when we ran out.(thankfully) , and the beds were the most comfortable beds that I have EVER slept in on vacation. Absolutely everyone commented on the comfort of the beds and bedding , very high quality in all the bedrooms.The walk to the beach was 8 minutes, in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. The local neighbors are so friendly, everyone we met on our walks made us feel welcome.I just can't say enough about this home, other than we'll definetly be back. There's only one thing about this area, there is an 8 foot gator that the locals warned us about in the lagoon and we saw it sure enough. Very exciting!!! as long as you see him before he sees you. However, its not like you would let your small children play in the lagoon anyway. If your considering renting this home you will NOT be disappointed and it will be one of if not the most relaxing vacations you ever had .My family will definetly go back soon..

  We found the home to be exactly as listed in the decription and photos. The home and surrounding area is beautiful. Our group consisted of 14 adults and 3 children under the age of 3 and we were able to close off portions of the home to eliminate loud noises from keeping children awake at night. Every family in the group had plenty of room in their bedroom and the house is large enough for everyone or group to find a quiet spot to relax. The owners really care about their property and it is well maintained even to the point that each kitchen drawer is labeled with the utensils belonging in that drawer. If you enjoy taking a short walk under the cypress trees and watching the deer and other wildlife on the way to the beach, spending some time in the ocean or walking the beaches looking at the loggerhead turtle trails or dolphins and other shore birds and then heading home for a relaxing swim in the clean warm pool then this is the place for you. There are plenty of golf courses and bike trails to choose from if you desire. Shopping and dining establishments are plentiful as well. We have vacationed from Sandbridge down the coast and this was our first trip to Hilton Head. It definitely won't be our last. The owners were very easy to deal with and more than willing to answer any questions about the property or the area. Highly recommend this property for a large group.

  My extended family and I have had the pleasure of renting this beautiful property from Bill and Donna for several years now. This delightful home more than comfortably accommodates our large, multi-family gatherings. The house is spacious and well appointed. The kitchen is more fully stocked and organized than that of any other property we have rented over the years - and it seems that any gadget or appliance we might need is on hand. The pool is beautifully kept and there are plenty of lawn chairs for our sun bathers. The lagoon in the back yard has afforded us the opportunity to view turtles and other wildlife. The beach access is a short walk away. The bike trails offer vacationers an opportunity to explore Palmetto Dunes. And much, much more. I recommend this property without reservation.

  This house was fantastic. 12 women shared the house for a week. It is beautifully decorated. Pictures and description were very accurate. I would reccommend this house and would like to come back. We did discuss that possibility so it might happen. Kitchen was well stocked and so organized. I have rented many times from VRBO and this rates at the top. Only one in our group had been to Hilton Head and we were all impressed with how nice the area is.

  We absolutely loved this house for our recent family vacation. The house easily accommodated our group of 14 - 8 adults and 6 children. The home is beautifully decorated, the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the kitchen is extremely well-equipped and organized. The beach is just a short walk away and very easy to get to. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub everyday. We love that the house is tucked away in a quiet area in Palmetto Dunes. It's obvious that the owners really care about their renters and take pride in maintaining a beautiful home. Can't wait to get back.

  This home is outstanding! This is our favorite home we've stayed at in Hilton Head. The benefits of this home are too numerous to count but (1) pool is huge and wonderful for kids (2) fishing available in lagoon, intercostal, ocean (don't forget saltwater fishing license - new as of 2009). (3) walk to beach is only 10 min, plus shuttle will pick you up and take you back to your home (4) all kitchen supplies well marked and everything you could need. (5) grill is perfectly maintained (6) stereo system with indoor/outdoor speakers that can be individually controlled (7) private, quiet, not much traffic and safe (8) easy access to all three Palmetto Dunes golf courses (9) easy bike ride to General Store (10) well set up home - with living space overlooking pool (11) lots of nature to view including turtles (lots and lots), cranes, fish and the occasional alligator. The negative are (1) none.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

  Our family of 14 enjoyed a wonderful week in this beautifully decorated and spacious house. The kitchen was the most organized and well stocked of any summer home we have rented in the past. There were six children in our party, ages 6 to 14 who were able to ride their bikes around the area and we felt they were very safe b/c of the security in Palmetto Dunes. All enjoyed fishing, swimming in the pool, and relaxing on the beach.

  Fourteen family members ranging in age from 7 yrs to 77 yrs spent a delightful week last July 2010. One family member has a picture of the beautiful pool as his screen saver on his computer. Viewing that helps to get through our long northern winters. Everything was more than expected and we bicycled, swam in the pool, spent time at the beach (a short walk) and went sightseeing in Charleston and Savannah. Although we cooked in a lot of the time, we also tried several local restaurants and were not disappointed.
