We invite you to visit our charming Log Cabin, "The Dreamcatcher", located where the Foothills Parkway and the Cherokee National Forest meet in Cosby, Tennessee, the best kept secret in the Smokies. Sit back and relax on your front porch and enjoy fabulous mountain views or go to the private back porch and soak your cares away in the soothing hot tub.
The beautiful mountain views, cozy log cabin, fireplace, hot tub and close proximity to area attractions make a perfect vacation hideaway. The cabin is affordable and does not have the added cleaning and reservation fees normally associated with other log cabin rentals. We are close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. We hope to see you soon.

Wedding/ Honeymoon

We went to the cabin to celebrate our wedding/honeymoon after getting married in Gatlinburg. Finding the cabin was a challange because the roads weren't clearly marked, it was night time, and GPS was not able to be picked up signal while going up the mountain. The road leading up the cabin is a private road and hasn't been paved so it was a rough ride, but besides bumps did not have too much off an issue with a front-wheel drive vehicle. Once arriving to the cabin, the pictures did not do the cabin justice. The view of the mountains were breath taking and the cabin was cozy. The only problem we had was with the hot tub. There were no directions and the button control were worn off. The property was clean and well maintained. The cabin was fully supplied with cooking and daily living amenities. We had no problem with cell-phone service even with the cabin being secluded area. We definitely would recommend staying at the cabin to family and friends. The owner left menu recommendations of places to eat. We suggest to her up on her recommendation on going to the Apple House. One that was not recommended was the Peddler in downtown Gatlinburg. A little pricey but well worth it. If staying at the cabin, we recommend stopping at the store before due to the 15-20 minute drive it takes to the store from the cabin. We look forward to returning for our anniversaries.

This was our first time to the Smokies and won't be our last! Our son is 11 and had a great time with the peacocks that visited daily and also the hot tub. We had our 2 dogs and they loved it as well. We are planning to visit again next year for a romantic getaway. I can't explain how beautiful and peaceful it is there. Thanks again Debbie. can't wait to return.

What a lovely and relaxing place to spend our spring vacation. My husband and I have traveled extensively using VRBO as our guide. The beautiful Dream Catcher certainly didn't disappoint. The front porch views were amazing, and we used the spacious side yard for our Easter Sunday Morning Egg Hunt! The cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything that we could possibly need! It was a special treat to have the colorful peacocks wander in and out of the yard, and I spent endless hours watching the bluebirds flit about. This was a truly wonderful find. Close to the Great Smokey Mountain National parks for flyfishing and hiking this is a place that I would recommend to anyone desiring, peace, relaxation and nature! Thank you so very much for sharing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was small but quaint. The hot tub was great, and we had everything we needed to make a Thanksgiving dinner (minus a large pan for the turkey!). The location is so nice - close to everything, but far enough away from the crowds that you don't ever see them. Great little restaurants nearby, grocery stores just a few minutes out. The road leading up to the cabin itself is steep but beautiful. Loft area with 2 beds was a great play area for our 8-year-old (although she was a bit scared to stay up there by herself, so she slept on the sofa bed). It was nice to be able to do laundry, too - didn't have to pack as much! We had a few cold nights and loved being able to build a fire and enjoy it. Not much to watch on TV (no wifi, either, for miles!), but we didn't mind - we brought our own movies and even watched a few that were in the cabin. We can't wait to visit again!

The cabin itself is very nice. The road to get there was not so good. It was a bad winter & the roads are not in the best of shape. It needs to be mentioned in the listing that it is a steep one-lane mountain road to get to the cabin.
Owner response:We visited the cabin one week before the complaint regarding the road and nothing was in disrepair. Rentor mentioned ditches on side of road which are the normal drainage ditches. Most mountain roads in the area are one lane with areas to allow right of way. The road going up to our cabin is slightly steep but easily accessable in a car and is paved and maintain by the County.

Loved the cabin....First experience staying in owner rented cabin. Very clean, exactly as described. Quiet and out of the way YET close drive to Gatlinburg. Will stay again.... Loved the peacocks coming by the last day...
